Hi All,

Just returned from a few days in WDW, and I noticed this poster in the queue for CoP (where the two ramps meet):

Here's a closer look at the description:

I might be crazy, but I don't ever remember seeing this before, and I was in WDW for a week in October and in MK for a half day in January. Does anyone know when this poster first arrived?

Regardless, I love the retro poster, and however small an addition, it's nice to see that CoP hasn't been completely forgotten.

first they open up the ride back to near full operation....then they refurb the theaters....then the exterior theater walls...then they add seasonal signage to get people inside....then they add suprise fastpasses....and now this :)

Now they just need to refurb the ride itself

Glad to see it! That's vintage artwork on there, too, minus...
- the GE logo on the blue circle on the "tower" having been blurred out
- The words "Carousel of Progress" on the title instead of "Progressland"

And I'm really loving the historical plaque on there, but then again, I would. :lookaroun
Now Disneyland's "it's a small world"... THERE'S a 1964-65 World's Fair history plaque! ;)

Good! COP's problem is that it's so out of the way of everything else, and when you do find it, the queues are often so minimal you wonder if the attraction is even open.

So true. I can not tell you how many times I walked past that building before I even knew that there was an attraction in there.

That is brilliant!! I have always loved the 64-65 World's Fair posters, and this is just a wonderful addition to CoP. Now I hope they sell matching souvenir posters to go along with it. :)

I really need to get over to MK soon - it's been a while...

They ought to start selling this at the Art of Disney along with the other attraction posters. I'd love to have this in my house.
