Carousel of Progress Poster?

Hey, gang... I rummaged through my archives and was able to find a brochure featuring the original artwork for this poster. It was printed in November 1963 in preparation for the opening of the GE Progressland pavilion at the 1964/65 New York World's Fair.

I scanned the photo portion of the brochure cover and loaded it up in our World's Fair group here on WDWMagic...
Come to the Fair!

Enjoy!

Great News! Would be even greater if it meant a refurb in the offing!

On my first trip to WDW in 1979, we rode the parking lot tram, the monorail, the Wedway People Mover and then saw the COP. I was blown away. So it's always had a special place in my heart.

There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow.

Now is the time!

They ought to start selling this at the Art of Disney along with the other attraction posters. I'd love to have this in my house.

It seems like that would be a no-brainer...especially if they limited it to the Art on Demand at first. If they did that, they could gauge interest without having to produce anything (or much) initially. I know I'd buy one...

I'm so glad this is up! CoP need A LOT more love!

Now if they could just update the final scene and it would be a blockbuster attraction again!

Then again... maybe not.

Maybe if they added a speed tunnel...

I mean, what futuristic Disney attraction is complete without a speed tunnel...(SSE, Space Mountain, WoM... the list goes on and on)

But seriously, thanks for the post.

Wow that is really fantastic. Seeing that really makes me happy and I cannot wait to see it next month. We usually don't see things like this happen in the MK and to me, this is a much bigger deal than just a poster. There isn't a Stitch poking out of the poster. It doesn't show Buzz Lightyear and the Monsters Inc gang walking into the attraction.

A sincere "Thank You" to whoever is responsible for putting this up.

Yay, COP get's some love! One of my favorite attractions. I like the poster, gives you a feeling like you are back in the old times. (xsupaxmanxsfnex is currently singing you know what...)

That is so exciting.

With all the retro EPCOT and Figment merchandise we've seen popping up, I hope they add some retro CoP stuff. What a great vintage way to celebrate WDW yesteryear.
