It's even worse when there's a sea of strollers in front of the Haunted Mansion. Talk about ruining the ambience-!

It's worse when it's a Nimitz Class fleet.....

Low rent scrims in my opinion. I come to expect them to have an image of of CoP on them. I know this is a nit, but when you set expectations and you don't live up to them, it becomes to look like the people that run the Mall of America run DisneyParks.

They should plus the scrims here. They could mount some large projector screens on the scrims. position some cameras behind the scrims with them focused on the peoplemover track. The overall effect could be pretty cool. On larger projects like Pandora, they could use multiple camera mount points. Kinda like when we all used to watch shuttle launches on TV. Think peek holes on mine train construction walls.

I hope you're not in the parks next week. I am bringing a stroller for my 3 year old. Small, but quick! I hope I don't run you over! ;)

I'm all for strollers, when driven properly. But personally I hate the double and even GASP triple wide strollers. I saw a triple wide on the ferry boat once last fall. Guy could barely make it down the aisle without hitting the support poles.

Personally we have a double stroller but it is the one that is long and not wide. Super easy to maneuver and actually lighter weight than our old single seater that we still have.

I think everyone should have to push around a stroller in one of the parks for a day and see how rude other people are. Can't count the number of times groups just cut you off. Preg wife has been cut off many times too.

Then there are the stroller groups that ruin it for the rest of us.

I'd just love for the dad's audio to be consistent from scene to scene.
In one of them he sounds like he's talking through an old, scratchy radio.
I'd also support the final scene being restored to its original, then rewrite the opening script to make it clear we are about to see the progress of the US over 4 early decades.

I'll have to look at one of my recent MK guide maps from last month or so. I think I saw in it that it described the last scene as being set in the 1990's. This would be totally fine if it were more clearly communicated that it is no longer going to reflect today, It will reflect the 1990's. Then it would no longer be an outdated ride. Sure they need to fresh everything up from the theater seats to audio system and animatronics, etc. If the try to keep the last scene current, it will always be outdated.

The Disney site does not say this. It says Act 4 Winter - The Present which when seeing the ride makes it totally outdated.

I am genuinely surprised, I didn't know they give a single care about that thing. Wonder if any color scheme will change

I saw that, but, there is a world of difference between disability vehicles and strollers. But, even the strollers in a place like WDW is not a negative overall. It has become a necessity, that's the world we live in, we might as well go with the flow. It will save on growing ulcers. And it is what can only be defined as 21st century progress.

I fully agree. And strollers really are helpful. You can have a child nap in the park rather than having to go back to the hotel, they hold so much stuff under them, they're good for clearing the path in front of you... so many benefits. Even just for pushing a very young child around, they're very useful.

I can maybe understand visitors without kids being annoyed, but just about anyone with young children would agree. I've also never been bothered with strollers in the way.

It's just something to complain about. Always makes me think of my late grandmother who always complained about anything that happened or was created after about 1950.

Guess the stroller discussion relates more to CoP than any of us realized!

Was never a fan of the multi-colored gears. Hoping for something more modern and striking.

Can't beat any more striking than it's original look!! It really was a sight to behold. All of the ribbing on the roof had synchronized lights that could form changing patterns and colors. It gave the illusion that the entire roof was rotating.
