I wonder how long it will be before they change the menu? I'm all for having some interesting options, but even the kids grilled cheese is "weird" -- at least that's how my kids would see it. I know, "foodie" kids do exist, just not in my house.

OPR - Looks nice. I'd like to see what the inside is like during the day, I think the natural lighting would make it look really good. But the colors look good even at night, well done.

Can't say much about the re-designed food court, I'd have to go through it with the family to really know if it's an improvement or not.

Edit: The breakfast menu looks ok. I don't approve of the "plant-based sausage" option, or the lack of andouille to go with the red beans and brown rice in the make-your-own-breakfast bowl. Minor trifles, I know. ;) And the seating area seems less airy than the previous incarnation, but maybe that's just me. That could cut down on noise, though, so it could be a net positive.

I sure am glad I get to come here and read all the reasons I'm supposed to hate the new look of absolutely everything in WDW.

Either the theming is too bland because they didn't install huge plastic palm trees and neon colors in every guest area or they went too far by naming a restaurant after a cartoon crab. I can't decide which complaint is worse.

We are all just expressing our ideas on a subject and stating why. If you dont agree with someone give them a reason why maybe they should see it your way, that is how you can take part in a forum, you have instead made an empty statement.
BtW...just for fun googled the first place I could think of Marriott Bethsda,MD because that town is pretty much the definition of suburban metro chic.
Looks kinda familiar? https://goo.gl/images/UaraEH

Maybe the OPR seating is less...there are now 579 less rooms which could easily be 1100 less people overall.

And now the only Disney Resort sans arcade.

Love that they kept the pineapple water fountain feature.

I’m worried about ordering tho- just one line to order with multiple registers?? Peak breakfast times may be rough.

Love the new look. Great facelift.

I will say, I do love the mural behind the drink station at the new QS.
Everything else feels a lot more like Sapphire Falls without that one gorgeous staircase. That said, it takes the parts that Sapphire did and improved on them greatly. It reminds me a lot of the village at Atlantis in Nassau. This may not be the pinnacle of Disney theming, but it is darn good.

Agreed. Not seeing any reason for complaining. Very nice for a moderate resort.
