Can anyone tell me what this building used to be?

If you are in Tomorrowland, the building in between Carousel of Progress and Space Mountain has been unoccupied for as long as I can remember. There are bathrooms on the bottom floor, but you can tell at one time the upstairs was used for something. Anyone remember?

Thanks for the help!

I believe you're referring to the old skyway building! It used to carry guests from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland.

I guess I should have dug a little longer. Just realized it was the old Skyway. I started going in 1976 when I was 2 and stopped going in the late 80s. We started going every year again when my son turned 2 in 2005. So........I guess I didn't remember that attraction!

Sorry!

I dunno, to be completely honest I dont miss them all that much. They were a bit of an eye soar. It was a neat way to get from Fantasy Land over to Tomorrowland though. When 20k was still there i used to LOVE looking down on the subs going in and out of the caves.

I don't exactly miss them all that much. I just liked getting a different perspective of everything and of course a lazy way of getting across the park.

They used to scare the crap out of me mainly because I am scared of heights! :D

Yea I have that problem as well. Some things bother me less than others. Tower of Terror im fine on. But something in the open, such as a rollercoaster, really gets me.

If im in the front car of Everest and you get to the broken tracks looking out over WDW...that messes me up a bit

I have to laugh! I am not a fan of heights either (still can't ride many roller coasters) but I had no problem on them until someone would try and rock the thing then all panic would set in!

Yeah, I was there in 1990 and not only had any desire to ride the buckets, but I don't recall ever actually noticing them XD

Yeah, the first time I visited WDW it had the Birthday Cake Castle, and since I had not seen it before, it really did not bother me as much as it did other folks.
