I just saw on the news that Universal is offering 7 day pass for 2 parks for $100. We have already had to cut our trip time from 10 days down to 7. When I called to make that adjustment, I swear my hotel price went up, but the reservations desk said it didn't. (Previously, I had taken my total price and removed the ticket prices and then divided the result by the number of nights and got about $100, and when I did that again after decreasing our days I got $190)
So, I guess my question is: Is it worth a try to call and ask to see if there are any other deals available? We already are getting in on the free dining--that being the case, will they not give us any additional discounts? Should I even try?
When we made the decision to cut our days, it was to get under a budgeted amount, and then since we didn't get as much off as we expected, we are still overbudget, so I'm trying to figure out ways to cut another $300-$400 out somewhere.
My husband says I should call them and mention the Universal deal and hint around that we may decrease our stay again and spend a few days at Universal. Anyone think that might work?
