Not to mention the stupid ending. I thought the Velma character acting was great, but the Lesbian part was dumb. I also found sa lot of subtle and sometimes not so subtle indications of things that have no place in a child friendly Movie. I wonder how Hanna-Barbera took the additions. It could have been just as good or better without them. I do like the haunted ride and there were some very good "scooby" parts to the movie. I am very mixed on whether I liked it or not.

That's EXACTLY how I feel! It's like you took the words right outta my mouth! I remember when we left the theater Julia said "You're NOT getting that, are you?" And I said "I don't know... If you don't watch out, I might. I mean it's Scooby, how can I not get it?" DO you feel like this, like you should et the DVD simply because of the franchise? And the ending was probably one of the worst plot (not that there seemed to be any) twists I've ever seen. It's even worst than the Jeepers Creepers ending. But Scooby and gy were pretty good. The burping was ok, the farting was uncalled for, the scrot-licking line, the whipped line and some others I can't remember shouldn't be there as well. I wonder why Scott Ines didn't do Scooby, the guy doing was terrible IMHO. Did you notice they didn't acknowlegded the fact that Scooby is Scrappy's uncle?

I'm not getting it. I will rent and watch once more, but that's it. Rowan Atkinson was underused in the movie as well. There was very little logic to the movie, so oddly the plot twist worked, although it had nothing to do with the story. Think about the monsters on the wall that scooby and gy were gonna try to escape from. They never explained how that could of happened or why it would in a man-made attraction. The gang breaking up story was a descent attempt at story, but it didn't really go anywhere. If another movie is made, they better correct non-scooby problems, and maybe concentrate on Guest Celebrities. Even bring back old ones like Don Knotts and the Globetrotters.

I see what you mean. Maybe I'm a freak (not THE Freak, obviously! :lol: ) It's a pity that the movie can't be held only on gy and Scooby... If Mondavarious was the villain, it'd already be better. Not good, but WAY better.

And they are making a second one. I do hope they get someone who did watch the cartoon, because this guy apparently never heard of Scooby-Doo. I really can't understand how Joe Barbera let this movie be made. It seems he's personally connected to the movie, there's some kind of interview with him on the DVD.

Hehe it's been a busy day. I read... but kept getting distracted. Did my grocery shopping. Cooked potato salad and hamburgers (all by myself aren't you guys proud.. btw who wants to come by and EAT the potatoe salad.. I made way too much lol...)

I'm sooo bored...

I wish i was awake during the day *sigh*

EEYORE!! I have the cute one that answers questions for you... and I actually have the answers recorded on my puter *giggles*. I miss my eeyore.. he's at home... I couldn't fit him in the mustang on the way back here last time I came back down but he's coming with me next time!!!

Icks.. instead of being a night owl something has made me a morning person. This is something I'm not exactly thrilled about. LOL.... I miss being a night person. People are so much more interesting late at night *giggles*.

Speaking of, I think it's a very bad idea to have Taker and Brock in Hell in a Cell. The whole point of Hell in a Cell is someone getting brutally beaten. But for Hell in a Cell to work, one of the participants has to be able to take that beating. What made the first Hell in a Cells so great was that Shawn Michaels and Mick Foley were practically killed in there. I can't imagine Brock Lesnar or Taker being thrown around in there, taking that much of a beating. I think this match is gonna be as bad as the Taker-Bossman Cell match at WM 15. Now Tommy Dreamer, he would make a good Cell participant.. I can already picture it. Hehe.
