Another look at proto-Buzzy I just saw on the tweets. If you check the thread associated, they've taken photos of all the pages, if you're curious to what's inside.
tired of hearing that downright dishonest comparison which is almost as bad as equating urbex with rape.
In a word, no.So we still even know he if was stolen or not?
Urban explorers don't hit homes that people live in. Pretty much everyone in the community considers that to be beyond the pale.
Urban exploration is more about abandoned spaces, caves, rooftops, etc. Not about people's homes. So tired of hearing that downright dishonest comparison which is almost as bad as equating urbex with rape.

That's exactly the case with Body Wars too. It's security system (which has been deactivated for a looooong time now) was used to monitor the bays, sims, and hallways for crowd control. It wasn't really used for security purposes.(Long-time lurker here with a first post)
Just speaking from my experience working at Star Tours a few years back on my CP, we had several doors that remained intentionally unlocked which led backstage in case we needed to clear the building for an emergency. We also used all of those doors to rotate positions, etc. The important / actually dangerous machinery is locked, but getting backstage to film our dingy little hallways would be super easy. The cameras I had access to were used for crowd control and not backstage security.

Hate to be that guy, butThe vast majority of urbex explorers only go into literal abandoned locations, very few do so in otherwise functioning facilities like MattSonswa and BDD. They do not steal. Don't condemn all of them just because you refuse to see more than what this thread has presented to you.
Just a reminder, please try to stay on topic. Thanks
Clearly it was a terrible comparison that should not be made, since motivations are entirely different.Clearly you didn’t understand the point of his comparison. He wasn’t equating the crimes themselves but the justifications for them.
Urbex is on topic because the guy that stole Buzzy's clothes is being labeled as an "urbexer".Hate to be that guy, but
The comparison wasn’t about motivations.Clearly it was a terrible comparison that should not be made, since motivations are entirely different.

Has it been established that he was the one who stole the figure's costumes? My question is how exactly BDD was able to get Buzzy's clothes off in the first place. With Buzzy being 10ft off the ground he must've had to stand on something or had someone lift him up
Well it is said he had pictures of the clothes in his car or up for sale on his phone so if he didn't take them he is dealing in stolen property.Has it been established that he was the one who stole the figure's costumes?
There's a lift right underneath of Buzzy so maintenance can get to him.My question is how exactly BDD was able to get Buzzy's clothes off in the first place. With Buzzy being 10ft off the ground he must've had to stand on something or had someone lift him up
