News Buzzy’s been stolen?

This is definitely one of the most bizarre rumors I’ve heard regarding Epcot to this point. If true, this probably brings the chances of Cranium Command reopening from 1% to 0%.

Maybe this will be the push that Disney needs to put something worthwhile in the WoL location.

It was most definitely someone with access/keys to backstage areas, or someone that had close connections to someone that does.

Wonders & Cranium are not locked up, so no keys are needed. But you WOULD have to get through the security booth in order to get a car back to the Wonders parking lot. From my understanding, you need a parking pass to get back there (correct me if I’m wrong), which most regular CMs don’t have, I believe. Although, it IS possible to obtain them. It’s still wild to me that this all went unnoticed.

What if this is all some sort of sick prank to get publicity for the Guardians ride, and come 2021 Buzzy is on display in the former UoE. "Oh no! Rocket stole Buzzy!"

-BackDoorDisney was inside WoL at the same time Buzzy was stolen. He was caught and arrested for trespassing... However, a search was done on him, his car, and his house, and Buzzy wasn’t found anywhere. It is now firmly believed that BackDoorDisney isn’t the culprit, and was just in WoL at the worst possible time: The same time someone else was stealing the iconic Buzzy animatronic.

-Report of the police photos say the frame that kept Buzzy attached to his chair were cut at and broke, oil from the broke machinery spurt out everywhere... No other damage.

-Many people are enraged at Disney for leaving him back there to rot for 11 years, but are also begging Disney to find Buzzy and put him in the Archives.

It’s not that hard to get in. They’re not doing background checks every time someone pulls up to the gate.

I heard that Chapek stole it because he is trying to remove any trace of EPCOT Center that is left.

Nice to see that it only took a crime to be committed to create any sort of "buzz" about Cranium Command.
