Brydan is paid for by Disney.. he's a um, asset of there PR department
and I'm still calling it, this IS all related to a roller coaster being built.

Expect the que line to be FILLED with Epcot "history"

Are you implying that Disney orchestrated the whole "Buzzy was stolen" thing? That just isn't Disney's style, they wouldn't treat buzzy as an object, they would treat it as a character so would come up with some story about Buzzy running away or something like that.

i wouldn't mind seeing Disney get more creative with marketing like this but Mickey Views is far too critical of Disney for me to believe he is part of a campaign. If it is it is pretty brilliant.

That meme would make a killing on The Antique Roadshow

I just noticed that someone tagged Orlando Police in the comments :hilarious:

I get that people are upset but some of them seriously need to calm down. Disney does not need people's internet vigilante justice. They have more money than God and a herd of bloodthirsty attorneys at their disposal.

I don't think there being no spilled oil is a big conspiracy; if there was, you know it was cleaned right away.

Also I don't doubt it was stolen, but depending on the pic and the cuts of the wires if there are any, it's possible it was stolen after extraction by Disney.

One things for sure, a lot of the very young Disney fanbase are behind this and seem to be pushing this "stolen" narrative and each other saying they have the exclusive scoop. I know I was 16 once and loved hyperbole also. So I'm taking the stance that until we know officially via the Sentinel or a actual reputable source, then I'm going to assume that it was purposefully taken down.

You can see the cuts in the screenshot he has already posted if you look hard enough. And to be fair, nobody has proof about the oil, but I personally am with you on your thoughts. I haven't seen much to support the theory on Archives taking him, but I've seen a bunch to suggest theft. Anyone who thinks this is a PR stunt clearly doesn't know how much of a risk it would be to take, and Disney doesn't do risks.
I just hope they find him

I’m with you on this one. Unprofessional craftsmanship in the workplace is nothing new, so I don’t take the poorly executed removal as definite proof that Buzzy was stolen. As much as I would like to believe the Disney Archives would take greater care in the removal of an animatronic, all it takes is one corner cutting employee. And who knows, the job could’ve been done by a low level employee, or an outside contractor. Or maybe it really was stolen. We just don’t know right now.
