I'm sure Disney's delighted to have this to deal with during the most hellish week of their year. Perhaps they will feel less of a need to crack down on the story, or at any rate they can use this to make an example of the guy to any would-be UE's.

I could be wrong, but I’m pretty confident Disney cares a whole lot less about this than we do. Of course they’re concerned about stolen property, but a huggggeeee majority of the company couldn’t care any less.

I just don’t understand how someone would be able to sneak into the WOL pavilion, cut down Buzzy, leave the pavilion and smuggle him out of the park without being caught. I find this very unlike something Disney would do, and the idiot who did the deed probably wasn’t a guest. Could it possibly have been some kind of cast member?

Exactly how I feel. It seems fishy that this is the ONLY source that is claiming to have photographic evidence though. And they keep making us wait longer. It just seems odd.
Personally, I cannot express just how little I care about it one way or the other. If somebody stole it, you should be able to find it on e-bay soon.

I'm not convinced that anyone removed it other then Disney themselves, but, I guess that would be to boring to talk about. They do own it and can, therefore, do whatever they want to with it and they are not obligated to tell anyone anything about a long closed attraction. They didn't send you an e-mail when they took out all those AA's in GMR did they.

I would have suspected that when the contractors were in to decom the Body Wars Atlas sims with their significant levels of Hyd fluid to dispose of, this would have been an ideal time to do the same to cranium commands hyd systems.

We can hope that the Buzzy AA who was destined for archives has indeed just been transferred there. With only a small historical significance in the grand scheme of things, a quick chop removal to lob the AA into storage seems a likely outcome ?

It really would not be that hard. There aren’t guards all over the place checking papers.

That is crazy. Wow. It's obvious that whoever removed him cut him out. Because of that, I'm leaning towards stolen. Thanks for keeping us in the loop, especially with today being Christmas Eve.

One question I have, is what if WDI just ripped him out? As we saw with the Sitich AAs, they obviously are willing to break stuff during removal, so wouldn't that be a possibility?

Yeah that photo to me does nothing to prove it was stolen. However Disney’s lack of a comment leans me in the direction of believing it was stolen. If it had been simply removed they likely would’ve made a statement that everything is ok. Of course they could still be trying to figure out if a division internally did this.
