Budgeting for Drinking Around the World

It all depends. Mixed drinks tend to cost more than beer. If you are going all beer all day, then it'll cost you less. 11 beers < 11 mixed drinks and will get you less drunk (considering most mixed drinks have more than one shot).

I think most beers will run between $4.75 & maybe $6 or possibly more (for example at Le Cellier there is are a few beers for $6.75 which are supposed to be awesome and are 8-9% ABV).

Some mixed drinks will cost you $8 or more.

I'd say plan for $70 on beer or around $90 - $100 on mixed drinks and somewhere in between if you plan to mix it up.

Have fun! This is what me and other cast members do after work to unwind most weekends.

Here is what we normally do...

Mexico-Frozen Margaritas! I get the Strawberry/Mango mix.
Norway-Carlsberg Beer (there are a few wines there-not sure which ones)
China-Peach Schnapps Green Tea Slush :slurp:. This is at the Tea Cart
Germany-Beer most of the time, or some get the wine flight
Italy-Rosa Regale and dark Chocolate or the wine flight there instead of Germany.
America-Food, I can't stand Bud or Bud Light. Sometimes they have Sam Adams, but bleh!
Japan-Kirin. I don't like Plum Wine or Sake
Morocco-There is a Peach drink inside the QSR at the bar on the left-sorry can't remember the name, but it's yummy!
France-Kronenberg Beer or Grand Marnier Peach Slush. There is also a Grey Goose Lemon Slush that some get. They also have a wine flight in the wine shop at the back of the pavilion. We also get Ham and cheese croisonts from the bakery.
UK-We will not miss our Welsh Dragon drink. It's electric green and is very nice. It's sad we don't even have to ask anymore. We are like Norm from Cheers and they have them ready :animwink:
Canada-Beer is the only choice. Moosehead Light is always my choice.

Again, have a blast and please be safe and pace. Maybe try the Kim Possible adventure while drinking...it could add a new level of play! :sohappy:

budget a $100 - we've not been able to make it - we'll, i've not been able to make it around yet. Only when we were there for food and wine - more carts, smaller glasses, in total hit more countries but not the real drinking around the world! But yes, budget $100/person. And advil!

My boyfriend tried drinking beers from around the world...He made it to Germany (we started in Canada) and that was all :lookaroun But he didn't really pace himself that well. Along the way he ate sushi and a bratwurst.

I had a Grand Marnier Orange Slushie ($9) and I was tipsy from that...but yum!

I then had a Fiesta Margarita :lookaroun Yum!

Have fun and stay safe

Edit: We also took pics in each country with the beers/drinks. The avatar is from the first one in Canada...but you can see the effect as we hit each country

If you were to have 1 drink in each country I would say around $70 - $80
However comma if your like me I like to try a couple things depending on the Country. For instance in Japan I like to do the Sake Tasting which you can find all the way in the back of the Mitsukoshi Department Store by the register in what could be called the China/Dishware dept. If you do more than 1 drink in each country budget around $125 but if your going to share with a friend or family member then obviously it will be less. But who wants to share!

Ooo, a sake tasting!?

Here's my big dilemma with Japan. I absolutely ADORE plum wine. Sake isn't much far behind. That's one of about 4 countries I want to try more than one drink in... Oy, better pack the advil now. :hammer:

The most that I was able to do was the Grand Marnier in France, a drink in Morrocco followed by a Margarita in Mexico and that was with a meal at Le Cellier prior (with complimentary champagne). The Margaritas are very stout as Dana said! There is no way I could do one per country without a wheelchair! :hurl:
