It’s the best attraction that has been in that building. You’re sheepishly trying to defend the creative team behind this exterior design.
It’s embarrassing.

You need balance.
Joe is a creative. You don’t give the money to the creatives.
Maybe they should put you in charge…because what happened…happenedThis.
WDI is effectively a general contractor. The client (management) decides what they want, and it’s WDI’s job to do it.
…exactlyEvery hotel construction project recently opened and currently under construction at WDW began before she was with TWDC.
That said her departure is a good thing for the organization.
I think the original sin of hurriedly throwing up clones of that out of desperation was the problemYou’re sheepishly trying to defend the creative team behind this exterior design.

You should watch the featurette about the “research” for EverestI flat out reject this premise. His projects have had consistent "Disney timelines". His budgets have elicited more bang for the buck then pretty much anything Disney has done in recent history. Look at the attendance boosts generated by Everest and Pandora or the remarkably quick timeline for Mission Breakout.
Bruce , Colglazier, Catherine Powell, Rohde all seem to hook up post Disney careers. Bruce and Rohde both " retired " from Disney , Powell was fired from Disney went to Airbnb and Bruce reported to her , Colglazier went to be CEO of Virgin Galactic with Rodhe as an exec for Virgin .With Iger back, Bruce returns to co manage WDI with Barbara , now Barbara a Chapek hire " leaves" Disney. Now Bruce runs WDI. As the world turns... Some say talking about WDI execs having control but in the end its Iger who looks for who he can control. While we all seem to agree this is a positive move…unfortunately the timing of it is obvious.
In a months time this may result in zero positive net change - unfortunately
Lay low, keep quiet and keep your exit package. Chapek left with $23M.Any rumours yet about where she’s moving to? The PR written announcement seems to suggest she isn’t actually leaving Disney, just WDI.
Not sure what other divisions at WDW will enable her to “create an even bigger impact for world” given her experience and core competencies.Any rumours yet about where she’s moving to? The PR written announcement seems to suggest she isn’t actually leaving Disney, just WDI.
They always kinda write it that wayAny rumours yet about where she’s moving to? The PR written announcement seems to suggest she isn’t actually leaving Disney, just WDI.
Since when do “core competencies” play a part? Chapek didn’t seem to have any.Not sure what other divisions at WDW will enable her to “create an even bigger impact for world” given her experience and core competencies.
Not enough heat has been thrown Bob’s way for chapekSince when do “core competencies” play a part? Chapek didn’t seem to have any.
I have stories for youMaybe they should put you in charge…because what happened…happened

If most of the creative work is outsourced, does it?It’s a really odd thing going on. She was president over a division that will create themed attractions that tens of millions will experience each year - but that doesn’t have the reach she was hoping for?
I don’t think so. I think there’s more to what makes Cosmic Rewind special than just Vekoma’s contribution. If most of the creative work is outsourced, does it?
