I wish it was 69! It only got up to 55 here in Eastlake.

High of 35 degrees here today...snow still on the ground. Although it's the wet, heavy stuff. I've been wearing my winter jacket the last few days now...it gets into the 20's at night.
People in Minnesota make nothing of it. By the time we get up the roads are plowed and salted and we're good to go.
It takes at least a foot of snow before we start to get concerned.

We had snow on the ground this morning that lasted until mid-morning...too cold, too early! Seems it's colder and colder for Halloween all the time. We live in a neighborhood with tons of kids, and wearing winter coats over costumes is no fun for them.

okay I gots an idea....YOU move to Michigan and have the snow....I'LL move to florida and have the warm!

I've heard that before. My relatives in NY and Seattle have told me to shut up and enjoy the sun. :lol:
But, I'd rather be cold than hot. You can never take off enough clothes to be cool when you're hot, but I assume you can always put on enough clothes to keep you warm. At least that's been my experience.

As for that... well... maybe just for a while. :lookaroun I need to see if I like it forst. But, I'd love to go someplace cold for a while to see how it is.
Hey...well, how about this..just for YOU...you can live through me...
Right now...it's a brisk 45 degrees, the leaves have completely turned (beautiful oranges, reds, and yellows)... A flowing rainbow of coloration as you drive down the country roads. Some of the weaker leaves line the sides of the streets and the smell of Autumn fills the air. Frost covers the formerly green grass.
Ok...now can I have some 80 degree weather? :lol:
