Are you planning on being bored with the surroundings, thus, feel the need for another source of entertainment?

I can't see why someone would need music in the parks, but the more power to you! You need no permission! You know the answer!!!

Happy Listening!!!

It might be nice if you're sitting around the pool or relaxing in the room and don't want to watch the TV. If you're in the parks, I'd say no because you don't want to miss all the music they have playing throughout the areas. I think the music in the parks is excellent and they need to come out with some park CDs!

Personally I find there are too many sights and sounds within the parks to want to want to blot them out with a personal CD. But if you want tunes when out of the parks then go for it.

My brother-in-law packs his CD player with him all the time and listens to his Hip Hop because he seems to be too cool for the surroundings with the music going on. That's alright though, to each his own.

It's nice to have on the flight, while in the car (as long as you aren't driving) or in the bus and sitting around the pool. You are allowed to bring it into the parks too, so don't worry about that.

If you had good earphones, noone would have to hear it.

I was about to post the same thing. The best of the best headphones are the noise cancelling ones where the listener doesn't hear outside noise and outsiders don't hear what's being played for the listener.

Also, watch out with your attitude as it might get you kicked off the boards.

And the reason you wish to shame your Gramps is .....?

Personally, I think the music adds quite a lot of atmosphere to the parks. However, if you want to listen to your music, by all means go ahead. Just, PLEASE don't ruin other guests' experiences if they want to hear the themed music.

I love bringing my CD player and listening to it as I walk through the parks, specially EPCOT. I am a music producer and addicted to music, so it is not that I am bored of the surroundings I just prefer to listen to music that I create.

When I go to Six Flags I usually have my MP3/CD (whichever I have with me) player playing. Disney I don't usually find a need for it unless my family is getting on my nerves or I am on a long line where the same stuff is getting annoying. If you want it, bring it. It's your call.

Why not bring a DVD player, a Nintendo DS, some board games, and a boom box along with you...
jk
-hey for the car ride there, do whatever you can to stall time.
-but hey if u gots to jam to 3-6 mafia, dj mannie, or nsync, go ahead man no ones stopping you. its just that even if you pay for the tickets or not, its a waste to get to another world with music when your already in another world of disney. its too good an oppurtuntity to pass by.
-but then again, if you go to a wedding and hate sympathy music, you put on your headphone to get away from the world.

Wow, atleast listen to some good rap [/end rant]

If you want to listen to your music, then bring some in ear headphones since I don't think the families around you will really want to hear the music too. To each their own.
