Breaking News.

Just after 4PM Eastern time, a massive blackout hitting the Northeast of America and the SE of Canada. NYC is dark at this hours, with thousands trapped underground in subays and elevators. The blackout is also affecting Detroit, Toronoto, Cleveland, New Jersey, Ottawa and Connecicuit. Phone systems in NY have been overloaded and has been reported in Michigan as well.


CNN is quoting a NY State official that says the Niagara-mowhawk Power Grid is overloaded and that this is not an act of terrorism. Thats still unconfirmed.

CNN is reporting that this is a not terrorism and is a natural occurance.

Office of HOmeland security as well as Other govt agencies are reporting that there is no evidence that its terrorism and they dont believe it is.

This is very severe.

I'm sitting here watching CNN. This COULD turn into a terrorist situation.

Power is everything. Terrorist cells that are being monitored right now could easily move during this. Tragically, they could activate.

Seeing all these people having to walk home to the burroughs, or worse, to NJ etc..

Our thoughts should be with all these cities.

Im watching Fox News right now and I feel soo bad for the Big Apple and its citizens. It would really suck to have to walk tons of miles to get home.

I just saw it on CNN, I suppose they'll be ok. We have tons of outages down here, especially during the summer. As long as the police keeps a keen eye on looters... The mayor called it a natural occurrence. Ok, I don't think it was terrorism, but call 5 states on 5 different countries a natural occurrance is definately new! :lol:
