I could see Germany conquering a pad. Wouldn't be out of the ordinary.
Well done

Well because in essence those are reserved for future pavilions, however if there isnt going to be any ever added, its been over twenty years now, they could certainly use them for that. Some of the current countries have further expansion space behind them such as Italy.
Except for the AA (which has a small expansion pad on its west side), all the countries on the backside of WS have large areas for expansion. Only Japan has used up all its space, but only because it has a huge show building just waiting to be utilized for an attraction. However, France, Morocco, Italy, and Germany all have ample room in back to expand (especailly Italy).
True, UK has space too, or did the village tent take up some of that? I think China and Norway are probably full, except for the pad between Norway and Mexico, but that would be used for a whole new pavilion.
:ROFLOL: Maybe that's why France was placed on the other side of the park.
World Showplace actually takes up space that could go to a new country. I actually thought between International Gateway and the UK bandstand would make a nice little expansion area for the UK. Canada has some space too if you re-arrange backstage a bit. And like you said, Mexico and Norway are built out unless you use the country plot between them.
China is, however, completely built out.
Funny how the ones on the left side of the lagoon or more full and large while over on the right side they have more room and not quite as massive looking in scope. Russia would still be beautiful over there.
Russia would look beautiful anywhere they decide to put it.
Sweden (Imagine the Swiss Exchange Ladies!! )
You mean Switzerland?
Sweden would be too similar to Norway.
in reality Europe is already heavily represented, perhaps the England pavilion could change its name to United Kingdom to throw a bone to Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.
I realize that the majority of Americans and most likely the majority of posters here probably have European descendants and that is likely to bias one's wishes for the new Epcot country. That being said, Europe is already heavily represented at the World Showcase. South America is a large populous continent with no representation. Brazil is the largest, most populous country on this continent. The addition of Brazil to the World Showcase was probably a pretty easy decision for Disney planners.I believe a better pavillion would be a switzerland one so they can bring the first disney mountain to the east coast, The Mattehorn. If they do Brazil what is going to be the centerpiece? I can't really see someone saying that's brazil from across the lagoon. Now if the mattehorn was there you would know where switzerland was. Plus it'll bring some teens to the WS.
I believe you. I never paid much attention to the England pavilion because it has no ride and the Rose & Crown is not a typical meal destination for me.The pavilion is called the United Kingdom pavilion not the England pavilion. you will also see it is staffed by English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish cultural reps.
Heres the proof http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/parks/epcot/attractions/united-kingdom-pavilion/
Sure they do and I am not getting the reference as to how this pertains to the World Showcase.Bus drivers get no respect....
Sounds like an Ikea........Swedish chocolate and cheese in the store. Swiss meatballs in the restaurant. And of course, there would be an ATM.
