Brazil Pavilion in Epcot?

I think they should not just call it "Brazil" or the "Brazil Pavilion."

They need to call it the Brazilian Pavilion.

I would go there just to take a picture next to the sign.:D

I mean like a small popular portion of it like all the other countries. (I know it's part of Brazil, but like a popular part of Rio would be good)

I wouldn't mind them moving the Soarin' attraction over there and could be renamed to "Soarin' over Rio de Janeiro" :D

Then replace Soarin' in The Land with a brand new animatronic show, or a dark ride through different climates (changing up Living with the land a bit), or more eating space. Then they could replace The Circle of Life with a new animatronic show :)

And then we can just use stock video footage of any movie that took place in Brazil for the wide angle Helicopter shot over Christ the Redeemer.

Except for those of us related to Pocahantas.
I'm glad someome said this. Each time my British friends get on me about how the USA has culture that spans centuries instead of millenia, I remind them that there are peoples living in the US that have been here for 10,000 years and have their own unique cultures.

There are some in our country don't know this.

They probably are aware of said culture but realise that it doesnt apply to you, or are you in the casino business?

I'd like to see a new redesigned United States Pavilion.
Here's some changes I'd like to see.

Fountain that pours gasoline into a car that just continually skids on a piece of Nascar track, leading to a Nascar simulator where you drive around a circle 500 times.
Really fat overweight audio animatronics zipping around in motorized scooters on the pavilion, complaining about the heat.
And of course a perfect recreation of the Westboro church for people to walk through and get told why they are going to hell.
oh A Walmart giftshop! Where as you buy more stuff castmembers get fired!

There America!

(stereotypes are fun aren't they?)

Good to hear, though I hate to know how long the drive to philly or baltimore was.

We did the afternoon/early evening in Inner Harbor... only about an hour and a half drive. I was actually surprised there was so little traffic with a baseball game that night as well, but it is the Orioles....

I'm for this if it also includes a restaurant that sells monte christo sandwiches.

Isn't the American pavilion already a stereotype? The restaurant is a fast food counter service location that serves overpriced crappy hamburgers and hot dogs. The garb of the cast members is of colonial england, not another period. The attraction is a chest beating patriotic portrayal of parts of revisionist history.

Before the hate mail starts I want to point out that the American Adventure is my absolute FAVORITE attraction in Epcot.

Funny, stereotypes exist within our own country, that is how people in the North East stereotype the whole South (Nascar, fat, walmart)!
Yes, world showcase relies on stereotypes however, those stereotypes are still representations of culture and history.

In that case isn't every pavilion rewriting history as there is no mention of the holocaust in the Germany pavilion, etc. Many not no nice moments in history are skipped over at most of the pavilions.

Yeah, I'd like to propose an attraction based on each of the following:

Canada - Native people recruited to work in uranium mines without knowing the risks
Norway - Massacres. Blood. Conquest.
China - Child quotas. Women as second class citizens
Mexico - Drug cartels and kidnappers
Germany - :lookaroun
Italy - Fascism... Or Catholics being fed to lions
Japan - Child tea pickers
Morocco - Political repression
France - They could surrender to guests as they enter the pavillion
United Kingdom - Imperialism, prisoner colonies

:ROFLOL::ROFLOL::ROFLOL: For years, my mother would say, "I wonder why the Japan pavillion doesn't have anything about Pearl Harbor?". Of course, she was from the WWII generation and she would always say it with a smirk on her face.

It is the O's ... Hour and a half trip? So by York then, I think that is about how long my sister said b-more was from her college.
