No. To my knowledge DAK did not have significant budget overruns.Isn't the cost of animals that caused DAK to overrun budget originally?
The park just spent hundreds of millions of dollars to build a single land. The cost of some animals is insignificant next to this and won’t be the deciding factor that prevents a new land.
I’ll also point out that relatively recently they acquired at least seven new kanagaroo for the park. I’m not saying Australia is or will ever happen I’m just pointing out that they can acquire the animals if necessary.
