No
that's because those are two pads next to each other. and as far as I understand the one is not totally obsolete just because of fireworks.

That's my point - I'm hopeful they'll put it there to make up for such a large gap. It appears that I'm wrong however (and that's okay).

I wonder if they'll try to tie it in architecturally. Most pavilions flow decently into each other (especially before the original pavilions like Spain were cut).

The most abrupt transition personally is Japan to The American Adventure and Norway to China, but they both look fine IMO.

but at least they somewhat match in their size/layout, all quite large.

Probably a new Three Caballeros ride if Coco's taking over Mexico. Brazil was a huge part of the two Latin America films and Jose is so much of an icon in Brazil that they actually drew him over Donald and Mickey in the Disney comics over there.

Jose would have a huge line by Brazilian tour groups if he has a solo meet and greet if the Brazil pavilion existed.

Some supposed insider on Twitter was claiming Spain is the frontrunner. Although I feel like they've just repeated what was said on here ... vash something ... I'll have to go find it ...
If I was running Disney, Brazil would be the clear front runner. They don't really have anything from South American culture at the resort, and it's needed. At least with Spain they have some similar architecture in Morocco, as well as 5 other European countries.

If we were really lucky, they would break ground for two new countries at the same time, but we know that that won't happen :(

*logs on and sees this* There's no way this is real...Right?
Insiders seem to have varying opinions right now. There seems to be a general consensus that something is coming (@marni1971 says that there is one that is probably going to be built, another that might be built, and a third that has a slim chance of being built), but I don't think it's been confirmed by any of them that Brazil is the country going in.

There is precedence for multiple new countries being built at the same time. unlike plain old attractions (irregardless of how complex or basic they are), each country in WS brings probably two restaurants (one TS and one QS) along with multiple shopping areas. Just look at how quickly Disney Springs went together. when there is money to be made, things seem to move along a little more quickly.

Does anyone have any idea where this new "Brazil" addition could possibly go? Is it taking over the outpost or being placed between two countries in an expansion pad?

There is a map of expansion pads in WS and there are plenty of them (8 I think was the number I saw on the last map). I THINK what has been stated is the first ( or only for now) new country would be going in between Germany and Italy.

That is indeed the leading rumored contender.
