Brand Spankin' New Magic Friends

Ooo, I forgot to post this earlier. But I had the best time at the concert yesterday. I really thought I was going to be assisting with giving out awards, but it was just a ploy. It really was there to get me up on stage to embarrass me. The band teacher gave a speech about how I had helped out for 5 years, was moving to FL, and how my favorite team is the Mets. Then he gave me some things, including a signed baseball by David Wright, and a signed picture that says "Joanna, good luck in Florida! Your friend, David Wright"! It was all so nice, and so unexpected! :o

Goosebumps!!!!!

Jo, you really deserved that!

...probably not a concussion, but just keep an eye on it. I used to keep a bag of frozen corn or peas in the freezer that we used strictly for boo-boos like that. They were easier to mold to her head than an ice pack.

I've got a squishy gel pack that's pretty good... but she wouldn't let me anywhere near the bump.

I'm going to be checking on her every hour as she sleeps tonight :lookaroun

And Hi Jenn, BTW - got your e-mail haven't written back yet, sorry. GLad to hear you've got a path of treatment now! I've been pretty worried, kid. That's a long time for a cough.

Thanks hon! Just started the meds yesterday - DH told me it could take up to 4 days to start being effective, and I'm pretty impatient....I've been losing sleep for a month now...:snore::snore::snore:

Thanks everyone. :o

I know they didn't have to do that. I feel so blessed to have gotten to work with all the kids in the music department (especially since that was my favorite place to be in HS). But it was really nice of them.

Abby got her grades today - overall 3.7 GPA for the year! :sohappy::sohappy: And one the moms of her preschool kids sent her a thank you card today w/ a $5 gift card to Claire's tucked inside. Wasn't that sweet?

Got to go - DH needs a shirt ironed for tomorrow, and coincidentally there's a pile of wrinkled shirts sitting on my dresser. Hmmmmm.....
