Good things, I hope...:lookaroun

She got busted sticking up the WaWa!

Nah, J/K - it was the health advice portion of the news and Judy was interviewed about breast ultrasounds. She looked so cute, and they talked a little bit about her and it WAS AWESOME! Yep, there was me in the chair at he nail shop going: " I know her! That's Dot's Judy!" and all the little nail girls were like "Ohhhh-kaaay". What's cool is I never actually watch the news, it's just what they had on so it was a lucky chance I caught her segment.

Bunny - my DD used to do that at least once a month. Once she did it as we were heading out the door to her check-up appointment. As a mom it hurts to see it happen, but she'll be OK. It's just one of those hazards of having a mobile child.

I KNEW it! As soon as I saw her, I thought.. "This one's trouble!"

How funny. I never see people I know on the news.

I just hope it's not a concussion or anything. Although there's really nothing to be done if it is, anyways. Ugh..

I felt awful. I mean, we protect them so much.. but I couldn't stop her from smacking into the wall. :zipit:

Not to mention I was going to bring her to school to show her cuteness off this Friday. It'll be a nice shade of purple by then.

What did you guys see?
We had a special VIP tour of the Pentagon, then Arlington cemetery, then the pentagon City Mall. Saturday they did Ford's Theater, the Capitol, the Old Post Office, Air & Space, and the Lincoln Memorial. Sunday they went to church at National Cathedral, then the Zoo, then back to the airport.

Ooo, I forgot to post this earlier. But I had the best time at the concert yesterday. I really thought I was going to be assisting with giving out awards, but it was just a ploy. It really was there to get me up on stage to embarrass me. The band teacher gave a speech about how I had helped out for 5 years, was moving to FL, and how my favorite team is the Mets. Then he gave me some things, including a signed baseball by David Wright, and a signed picture that says "Joanna, good luck in Florida! Your friend, David Wright"! It was all so nice, and so unexpected! :o

Dang. Sounds action packed!

How sad is it that I live 45 minutes from all that and I've only been to the smithsonian. Some day I've got to go back and see the rest with the girl when she gets older.

Did she lose consciousness at all - eyes roll back or anything?

Sounds like fun Betty!

Oh! Did everyone hear what happened at the Holocaust Museum today?

No. Just the worst screams, and the tears. I gave her an ice cube to munch on, and set her down in front of Nemo on the computer while I ran around like a crazy person. She settled down pretty soon, so I think she's fine. She just wouldn't let me touch it to put ice on it.

Yes I heard about it this afternoon. How horrible! Even with all the security measures, if crazy people want to do something like that, they'll find a way!
Originally we were going to go there Sunday, but logistically it just didn't work, so we opted for the zoo instead.

Well, there's your problem right there. Kids schedule these sorts of incidents for when you want to show them off or have their picture made.

...probably not a concussion, but just keep an eye on it. I used to keep a bag of frozen corn or peas in the freezer that we used strictly for boo-boos like that. They were easier to mold to her head than an ice pack.

But I didn't tell her about it! :zipit:

Just figures...

Wonder if I can use some makeup to cover it up...:lookaroun
