booking online vs calling

:confused:I called and booked 7 nights at DWL. I am paying the higher rate for Friday and Saturday night. I noticed that if I book online the rate does not increase for the weekend. It indicates the same rate all 7 nights. Anyone know why this is? Anyone know of any reason as to why I should not call and cancel and then book online to save on the Friday and Saturday nights?

Do whatever is cheapest.
Oddly enough, i get cheaper rates on the phone.
There is alot of "discounts" that one can get by either having a code or simply ASKING. I have gotten AAA rates many times, and im NOT a member. I just kinda...throw it out there about being a firefighter.:)
But seriously, check for room only codes, they are on mousesavers.com
Im not sure if they will work for the time you are going.
The last few times we have went, we used the codes. We got AllStar Music for a mere 50 per night (ish).

Personally, I always call. But as for a different price - I got the same (buy 4 / free 3) deal when I priced it out on line and called to make the ressie. I know that if you call, you can apply a Pin Code if you have on - the current codes (check mousesavers). Or you can call Kingdom Kunsultants and they will get you the best deal available for the time you are going.

I'll bet if you take that picture off your mommy's refrigerator you drew of that magic flying fire engine you invented with your thinkbone, and show it to the clerks at the front desk of your resort, Mickey will make you the honorary mayor of Seven Seas Lagoon! Yay! :sohappy:

You're already welcome! No need to thank me!

As far as Disney goes I always call. Most other things I will book online. I just find it easier to talk with someone when booking with Disney.

I appreciate the support and kind words.
And, yes it is important to call WDW for ressies.
One never knows what they can get unless they ASK.

Heck, some people think it's important enough to ask for more than what they'll ever possibly need, just in case! And if that means other people go without, well it sucks to be them! LOL :ROFLOL:  :) :D

You know what *I* like to do is find out which cast members have children, find out where they live, then threaten to call child services on them for crimes that, oh, I make up, unless I get what I want. It works ALL the time. And nobody gets hurt, because, you know, it's all made up! :sohappy: Sure, sometimes the cast members beg me to stop. But I think they get the joke, and either way, it's not like I ever have to see them again after my trip! :p I LOOOOOOOVE me my magical Disney tips! Think of them as my gift...TO YOU! :xmas:

I book online. No need to call long distance and wait on the phone for what feels like forever. I can check and compare different resort prices and then just book. Much easier for me.
