It’s kind of funny how people say Disney needs to abandon brick & mortar retail while they operate their own successful lifestyle center.
A big part of the reason that the Apple Store at Disney Springs didn’t happen is because Apple typically get below market rent since they attract so many people into malls. That’s what The Disney Store should be, not just a place to dump the same generic merchandise but unique locations that people just want to visit. They should drive people to their select locations, not be dependent on their foot traffic.
