As a space wizard I'm offended by the depictions.Well as a rebel who was traumatized when I was orphaned, I can't get into it either.

Maybe…ESPN is def gone and Hulu next.....they will move all content from Hulu to D+
Ummm…because everyone is on vacation?I never understood why anyone would want to be away from home/family's home for Christmas. I like the WDW Disney parade show on Christmas morning, but besides that, plenty of better times to go.
…ummm…it usually is…but I wouldn’t bet the farm on any “lower crowds”I'm going next week, after Thanksgiving obviously, and it is usually less crowded.
This is actually very accurate and something that has been kind of lost in all this: Disney was doing exactly what investors wanted them to, until investors suddenly changed their mind a few months ago. Does anyone really believe share prices represent the actual value of companies?Welcome to Whose Wall Street Is It Anyway? Where the rules are made up and (small) profits don't matter!
Just took a quick look at the Touring Plans crowd calendar and the soonest they are prediction an overall crowd of 3 or less in August 29, 2023. It will be crowded for some time unless something dramatically changes that.Ummm…because everyone is on vacation?

Chapek's fate was sealed with the April 19 Netflix earnings release. This is actually very accurate and something that has been kind of lost in all this: Disney was doing exactly what investors wanted them to, until investors suddenly changed their mind a few months ago.
I mean, yes. It represents the present value of estimated future cash flows.Does anyone really believe share prices represent the actual value of companies?

2019How long ago was your last trip?
I really do wonder what they were thinking. I mean, has Chappie never entered a target? What a sad thought, to never enter target.Posted today in a group of former Disney Store cast members of a “Disney Store shop in shop”. Really hope this is something that is reconsidered.

It's Christmas. Never gone away for Christmas. Can't imagine being at the parks.Ummm…because everyone is on vacation?

I'm asking this sincerely.I really do wonder what they were thinking. I mean, has Chappie never entered a target? What a sad thought, to never enter target.
I lived in Florida for three years and literally moved away because Christmas in Florida is butt. If you're from the Northeast, Christmas anywhere else is depressing. It's Christmas. Never gone away for Christmas. Can't imagine being at the parks.
I'll let you know how it goes.
Archer - Not into adult cartoons (besides MCU).And that's not even counting the shared experience of certain groups. With half of my family being Puerto Rican, I and much of my family loves My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Despite not being Greek, the aspects of the experience easily translate into Latin, Italian, Asian, Middle-Eastern, any culture that's come to America (or Canada). Just sub-in Vicks for Windex, Angel for Nicholas, and swap flags on the invites. Many people can see themselves in the work by seeing parallels to their own lives, the shared experiences we have.
Many are saying Andor is the best Star Wars work since Empire and I haven't seen anyone who didn't fall in love with the bundle of joy that was Ms. Marvel.
I was very fortunate. 15 years ago, my uncle told me to definitely sign up for a special offer Amazon was doing that got you free Prime for life. I didn't know why I'd ever need to buy something and if it was, shipping would be a paltry few bucks. But it's definitely reaped benefits now.
I would think people of those ages would be kept by nostalgia with backlog of shows and films they grew up on. We'd spoken earlier about the surprise of how many older single subscribers they picked up.
Archer?
Also, did anyone specifically pay separately for Hulu and D+? Although I suppose the bundle wasn't available in all countries.
St Augustine FL is wonderful during Christmas minus the winter wear.I'm asking this sincerely.
Why the hell should Disney care if some Target in Poughkeepsie is a craphole? Should Nike care? Or Samsung? Or P&G?

Disney's core business is high quality entertainment and experiences. Fair or not, people simply expect more out of them and Disney use to relish and rise to that challenge more often than not. We are just doing what everyone else does or is allowed to get away with is not an excuse, especially when you are doing less than you used to but charging more for it. It's, to use an Iger term, brand retreat.I'm asking this sincerely.

I get that…I’m just saying why it’s crowded. That is the traditionally most crowded 2 weeks of the year. It's Christmas. Never gone away for Christmas. Can't imagine being at the parks.

They also have made MORE money off that rep. Much more.Disney's core business is high quality entertainment and experiences. I can't remember if I posted it here or in the other thread....dance with the one who brought you and don't bite the hand that feeds. Its not that hard. They also have made MORE money off that rep. Much more.
Cap and Supe were in the same Econ class…I think
Exactly zero people have ever walked down a messy aisle at Target and gotten mad at Disney, LEGO, or Hanes. They get mad at Target. Disney is not responsible, in reality or in the minds of shoppers, for the condition of Disney merchandise displays inside a Target. This is only even a discussion because the photos were taken by disgruntled laid off Disney Store employees who posted it to a niche community who pays way too much attention to this stuff Online.Disney's core business is high quality entertainment and experiences.
