The Laugh Floor is actually a decent show, it just has no business being in Tomorrowland.
I think he was just asking lol... but I agree. I'd rather see $2 billion thrown at DHS and maybe $400-500 million (for enhancements to current attractions and possibly Laugh Floor/Stitch replacements... over the next 6-7 years) at MK, then $1 billion at DHS and $1 billion at MK.

If DHS is getting Star Wars, Pixar, the Muppets mini-land, GMR update and something for Sunset/Animation, then I'd wouldn't want anything spent on MK. But if we only get a Star Wars mini-land and TSPL along with 2 new parking garages - I don't really blame anyone for wanting to fix Tomorrowland.

Laugh Floor is a compact attraction that pleases crowds, appeals to little kids and would help flesh out Pixar Place's offerings.

It's far better than Stitch. I'd be fine with it being in Pixar Place if we get a Monsters Inc dark ride/coaster, too. Way too many people seem to enjoy this show and it'd be a people-eating C-ticket in a park that's desperate for them (DHS). Plus, it allows a Tomorrowland-centric replacement to move in.
when I was there 3 weeks ago our entire group thought the worst two areas of WDW were Tomorrowland and Future World

As for media distribution shifting to digital, believe it or not Disney is the best positioned media company to adapt to this. They are very much aware of technology and that is why your board of directors include Sheryl Sandberg of Facebook and Jack Dorsey or Twitter and Square Inc. You also have John Chen and Judy Estrin from the tech side as well, the latter being a former CTO of Cisco.

Disney was the first company to distribute via iTunes and has business relationships with companies like Netflix. In short, it's one area that Bob has definitely made his focus.

EDIT: Judy is no longer on the board as of this year.

Too many tech types on the board, actually. Hence the focus and ok for huge expenditure on magic bands and social media.

Yeah, this is an underrated attraction that debuted before it was ready. I don't see it as often as I should and I would like to see it and other Pixar content re-located to the Studios.
Buzz can bite the dust due to TSMM. I'd rather BH6 or a new, scaled-down version of Horizons take over the Buzz area.

Finding Nemo - The Musical would be excellent for Pixar Place and allow Dinoland to get a thematically-appropriate show.

The incredible @marni1971 posted this on another thread and thought I'd share it over here.
---------------

Pick a colour, any colour...

image-jpg.98111

Every area that I've heard was considered for large-scale change over the last 3 years. No guarantee which will make the final chop. Other areas could be included but I can't personally confirm.

That's how potentially far-reaching and thorough the makeover could be. Note I said "could".
-------------

Thanks again @marni1971
Apologies if this was discussed in the other thread, but what does each color represent? May I assume that each color represents a different project? Based on what I've read here, I think I can get a list started:

Red: Cars Land.
Green: Toy Story Playland.
Turquoise: ???
Purple: ???
Orange: Toy Story Mania expansion
Yellow: ???
Blue: Star Wars Land phase 1. If the blue area makes Star Wars Land look small relative to the other outlines areas, that's because the existing Star Tours area is not circled, plus rumors persist that echo lake is going to be part of Star Wars Land but it is not circled.
Gray: ??? Perhaps the gray part is Star Wars phase 2 (a ride that goes past the berm?) since I've heard mention of a phased opening. Could this be as simple as part of a parking lot / entrance revamp?
Pink: Indiana Jones is circled in pink as is Beauty and the Beast. I thought the former was rumored to stay while the latter was to become some sort of Tangled show?
Black splotches: ???

Again, this isn't a list of what I want and where I want it. What I'm trying to do here is match rumors that have been in other threads to the map posted above. I'm sure others can do a better job, and please do!

why must we focus on and harass peoples' misspelling like you are all english teachers??? Its so petty, especially when you dont even have anything to come back with except that?!? The fact that most people on this board usually are on their phone, and we all love our phones spell check! You know how many times you write a word correctly and the iphone changes it to a completely new word that doesnt even make sense? we all have been there. If you cant come up with something to actually say, even if you dont like what the poster is spewing, at least come back with something of more substance than "omg they mispelled a word! Their opinion cant matter anymore because they spelled a word wrong!"
It should be iPhone and can't.

I think they were just distinct areas of the park.

I believe Star Wars Land would take over Echo Lake area, Indy would be removed and possibly out into parking area. Thus the need for parking garages.

I don't believe they have plans to remove Indiana Jones at the moment. If I remember right the theatre has been scheduled for events for the foreseeable future.

Same with the great movie ride. Plans to overhaul that attraction can't happen as its rented out till 2018 or something for the dinners they hold in there.

I've seen that article but it was speculation on part of it. American Idol has closed but Indiana Jones and Stunt Spectacular have remained open and operating. They may close in the future but not yet. I could see Indiana Jones being the last one to close.

I would think these events could be held elsewhere
They may move these events to the new theatre once it is built by Rockin Roller Coaster.
