Ugh not this BS argument again. You do realize that there's an entire field of mathematics called queuing theory, and that experts in that field are the ones who designed FP and FP+?
I don't think eliminating Fastpass entirely solves much. We now operate in a world where every theme park has some sort of queuing system. What should happen is that the number of FP+ attractions should be reduced because it has certainly been added where it isn't necessary. To do this, the advanced bookings need to be reduced to 2 or 1.

Still have 99 more messages to read, but before I forget.....Is this meeting regarding only DHS/Star Wars or it is the Star Wars plan for all parks? @PhotoDave219 mentioned the Star Wars plan went before the board once and they sent it back because it was not ambitious enough. Was this the DHS Star Wars plan or the world-wide parks Star Wars plan?

The incredible @marni1971 posted this on another thread and thought I'd share it over here.

Pick a colour, any colour...

Every area that I've heard was considered for large-scale change over the last 3 years. No guarantee which will make the final chop. Other areas could be included but I can't personally confirm.

That's how potentially far-reaching and thorough the makeover could be. Note I said "could".

Thanks again @marni1971
What's those two big black holes at the bottom?

My information does not split that hair.

Anyone who thinks he is going to greenlight a Star Wars Land are in for a big come down.

You don't have to visit Orando to do that.

He's probably going to greenlight more shops.

My point is that MK CANNOT build enough capacity to escape overcrowding. I wish it worked that way, but it doesn't. Look at the additional crowds from the relatively tame New Fantasyland. If they had built more/better, those new crowds would have been even bigger. No matter how much capacity they build, that many guests and more will flood in to fill it. You act like crowds are an independent variable that can be managed with capacity, but the two are actually codependent. If crowds were going to stay flat, increasing capacity would absolutely alleviate congestion. The problem is that crowds DON'T stay flat. When you add capacity, crowds grow, leaving you right back where you started except with more strain on walking areas and parade/fireworks viewing areas.

This. One hundred times this. The best thing is to add content to the other 3 parks until crowds even out. IMO.

PS - You might make me unnecessary around here. And I welcome that.

So Jordan… Aren't you the one who was screaming that Star Wars would never come to Hollywood studios? What you saying that as recently as two weeks ago?

Are you the one whose going to spend his entire days hoping for a Star Wars land over at Hollywood Studios?

It will happen one day, but not under Bob 'can we do it cheaper' Iger.

Bob Iger - the man who single handedly destroyed the Disney parks.

Why do you even bother posting about theme parks? You moan about Disney. You moan about Universal.

I may not be a fan of the creative decisions made under Bob's reign at the top, and think that a lot of the celebration I see in this thread is WAY premature, but Iger hasn't "destroyed" anything. They're going to build Star Wars. Will it be the greatest thing since sliced bread a lot of people in this thread seem to think it already is? I have my doubts. But it's going to happen.

Seems like he's still saying that...

Perhaps he has knowledge of a meteor or hurricane named "BobIger" which has actually and literally destroyed the parks, and we just haven't heard it on the news yet.
