I think what we will see out of this will be Star Wars Land and Cars Land.
I haven't heard anything about a CarsLand.
Doesn't mean yes, doesn't mean no. Means I haven't heard it.

I'm also curious if the new name is being discussed or if it's already set and just waiting to be announced.

I wonder if the BoD have taken a stroll down the highway to check out what completion has been doing? It is probably what instigated this whole trip and the push for funding to fix some of the many shortcomings in the WDW parks.
I does bother me that the people that make the difference and approve the spending stay in private blocked off areas, ride around in limo's and basically stay away from the guest areas. Let them try the transportation systems to see how long they wait for a bus or see the ripped seats in a smelly monorail car. Maybe they can check into a random hotel room and see what the normal guest sees not just a block of rooms that have been locked for weeks as they were prepped for the D&P show. I would like to Bob see what it is like to reserve his ride on Soarin' 2 months out and still wait in line for 40 minutes.
Not that this group needs to do this, but at least run the guest gauntlet once or twice and see what it is like through the eyes of the people that make your paychecks so fat. You may make better decisions by understanding the other side through experience rather than through surveys.

I don't think we will see Cars Land... My gut is telling me they are going to keep that out west.... I would not be surprised if get Pixar but it won't be Cars... I keep thinking maybe we get a Princess to offset the male dominance of Star Wars... but I hope not.
Probably it almost slipped out during the shareholders meeting...
I'm just thinking a themed land will go out on the Back Lot tour site. Either Cars Land or Pixar Place. I would just prefer Cars Land
I doubt it. If anything is definitely staying put, it's Tower, and Tower is Hollywood.Wouldn't surprise me if it was something original like Disney's Florida Adventures.

Two words to help in that area. . . Boxer Briefs.Probably it almost slipped out during the shareholders meeting...
Yea, it's going to be odd. It's original theme was The Golden Age of Hollywood. What will it be going forward? The name will be tied to that.
That seems like it should be fine… Instead of Main Street USA, you have the Golden age of Hollywood on Hollywood and Sunset Boulevard.
And then you explore other movie properties throughout the park. Makes perfect sense to me…
Disney Hollywood AdventureTheme-wise yes, but what would be the name?

The incredible @marni1971 posted this on another thread and thought I'd share it over here.

Pick a colour, any colour...
Every area that I've heard was considered for large-scale change over the last 3 years. No guarantee which will make the final chop. Other areas could be included but I can't personally confirm.
That's how potentially far-reaching and thorough the makeover could be. Note I said "could".

Thanks again @marni1971
Sounds Dangerous is a complete waste- I agree- Its used to sign up the Jedi Training and that's it.
But the old AI building it where the Frozen Sing-along is. And from what Ive read- its a much better production/lighting/effects than the previous building. That will be there for a while- as well it should- it's popular, new, and eats crowds.
I've heard a few times of them moving the training academy into the old sounds dangerous building and adding laser and other effects...and out of the brutal florida sun.
