Bob Iger at WDW now ... BoD to Follow?

Do you have evidence that shows they have done this before?
Well the lines ARE really long and slow-moving for Anna and Elsa and FPs are impossible to come by. Who is meeting with them?o_O

I'm sure Disney would love this conspiracy theory to lead to the conclusion that the reason for lack of recent expansion at WDW is lack of space due to those darn wetlands. Walt said there was enough room for all of his ideas to come to life at WDW back in the mid-60s. Apparently they ran out of space 10 years ago.

Bad example. DAK is the worst park for space vs actual attractions. Wide empty space and pathways will of course hold a lot of people.

But on the bright side I can still read your posts!

Hmmm, more space, less attractions. Interesting. Maybe Joe is a visionary. May not work for a castle park but DAK is an entirely different kettle of fish. :cat:

You know what's funny?
Well, they give out donations to the Florida legislature candidates and make it rain.

Not a bribe in technical terms but they certainly buy some influence....

Well of course but that isn't any different than any other large company. But bribing an official to build on wetlands or somewhere you legally cannot is a bit different.

The only areas that can be built up at WDW are the ones shows in red/salmon. Yellow areas are marginally suitable, and green is unsuitable. This is the Reedy Creek Improvement District Comprehensive Plan - 2020 Composite Suitability Ratings.

And yeah, I TOTALLY feel you on Disneyland feeling superior to WDW parks for all the reasons you listed. So glad to see MK improving in the last few years, and I'm stoked for DHS to gets it's major overhaul (that used to be my favorite Florida park in the late 80's and early 90s). I hope that Epcot, especially Future World, gets massive work done someday soon (man it needs it BAD). Don't think it will get it for a long time unfortunately; the alleged $350 million is better than nothing though.

This isn't entirely correct. The red areas are the preferable areas to build, but there is nothing stopping them from building in the yellow if they wanted to. They could also build in the green if they really needed to, but that gets a little trickier.

With Fastpasses I assume.

"How badly do you want to get on our new Mine Train today?"
being honest.. It is possible to relocate wetlands?
As in, move the land in one site that is declared "unsuitable" and donate another patch of land elsewhere for "wetlands" ?

Well of course but that isn't any different than any other large company. But bribing an official to build on wetlands or somewhere you legally cannot is a bit different.

you mean like.. lobbyists who make senators/representants change the law in favour of companies?
