Pics look great to me!! I love all the diff characters usually not seen. I can't wait ot see it! Just curious, are they still going ot be running it in CA or just in FL?

Block Party Bash will only be run at DHS in Florida. The new parade coming to DCA in California is the Pixar Play Parade.
Also as a side note, I believe the Disney Stars and Motor Cars Parade may be moving to the Walt Disney Studios in Paris. Don't know if that's been confirmed yet or not, whether it's really true.

I believe that the maps will show three "zones" that the parade will stop in, that is if it's done the same as DCA.(the below examples are entirely based off the way DCA did it and MGM's could be totally different)
SIDE NOTE: I'm listening to the soundtrack while typing this to get me into the mood
When looking at the map, you will see a highlighting of zones in red, blue, and green along the parade route. The parade will stop in each of these areas and play to that colored zone only.
Example: The parade will travel down Hollywood Blvd, the red zone. Once the entire parade has made it into the red zone they stop all three float sections and perform the show stop, which is about 11 minutes long. When the show stop is over, the parade will move to the blue zone which is near the hat. The parade will stop and perform the same show stop as in the red zone. The same will happen to the green zone. When you watch the parade/show stop, you will watch either Bug's Life, Monsters Inc, or Toy Story floats perform. The parade is not set for people to see more then one float/show stop. (however, this can be done if your are at the end/beginning of two zones)
I hope this helps explain the set up of the parade. Again, this is based on the three show stop setup that DCA had at their park.

It should be marked on the DHS map like they did with the DCA one. They also have the show stops colored coded, and they place similarly colored banners along the parade route to show guests where each stop is. I imagine they'd do the same in DHS.
It should also be noted (again) that these are the exact same floats that ran at DCA. It's not a clone....it's the actual parade direct from DCA.

Just got back. We turned around when we got there because it's raining pretty hard all over WDW.

I agree!!! Our first stop was right in front of Monsters, Inc. I ABSOLUTELY ADORED Boo's costume!! I thought it was one of the most imaginitive things I've seen in a while! You really have to see it in person to appreciate it fully... trust me!!

yeah, the trampoline units were definitely there and they were awesome. Now there definitely were some tech problems ( i watched both performances ) Such as Mrs. Incredible never coming out on time, and Mike W. not coming up out of his float. Granted this is why we have previews. There is still a week until it premieres. Again, a really fun parade to me it flies by and i will always try to see more than one float. I can't wait until Sunday when it does some soft openings with guests!

Was there a performance on Thursday night as well? Did it go out in the rain or did it happen to stop in time for step off?
