Most of this is about Disneyland....waiting for the book on WDW..:ROFLOL:..sad this has to be done...but there are people out there that think the Nazies did not murder Jews during WWII. Kinda a silly one that the pirate captian is taken by Charles Manson...

I see it as more of a parody then actual bitterness.... some of it is quite funny! :animwink:

For example: From a description of Epcot's World Showcase

"Germany and Italy

These were both, at one time, fine, proud pavilions full of glorious pride and national ambition. Unfortunately, a few years back they got together, nationalized all of their attractions, and tried to expand into other parts of World Showcase. Although the French pavilion made only token protests, the other pavilions (with the notable exception of Japan) put them back in their place. Today, these pavilions are allowed to have nothing more than a restaurant and a couple of token shops, just so they don't get any ideas."

Sorry, but that's funny!

Hysterical, absolutely!!

I am sitting at my desk trying desperately to keep tears from running down my face because I am stifling laughter after reading the following:

"Be sure to catch the Circlevision film "Reflections of China," in which all of China's magnificence was reflected in a full-length mirror and filmed. (This replaced "Wonders of China," which apparently made many too many guests ask themselves, "I wonder if that's China?")"

And this:
Outpost

A small shopping area paying tribute to countries without enough cash for a real pavilion of their own.

Trivia: A few years ago, Disney constructed a giant sorcerer's hat on Hollywood Boulevard to block the view of the Chinese Theater so that guests entering the park wouldn't think that they had accidentally wandered into Epcot's China pavilion.

Now that is funny.

Reading the WDW section, I never knew WDW was older than Disneyland by five years... :brick::hammer:

If you can't enjoy a joke at your own expense every now and then.....

I've seen worse, as I'm sure many of us have.

I've seen that site before. I think it's hysterical!!!

I think is my favorite, where it talks about the name being changed from EPCOT Center to just Epcot... and how the "generation of email-enabled guest began to ask why the park's name was shouting at them." Hahahaha!
