Biggest Let Down

I agree on Dino-Rama - Who's idea was that????:hammer:

I like Toon Town though. That place just feels so Disney to me.

i 2 like el rio del tiempo, the newest version of journey (hey it @ least has figment lol) and other unpopular rides. They just r fun lol and no/shorter line is always a huge plus, one of my favorite parts about TTA lol, but this belongs in another topic so let met get 2 the dissapointments:

i am dissapointed by AK also, theres so much potential that they havnt tapped yet.... also mgm is startin 2 decline, sure its really great, but i prefer epcot n mk....

rides that dissapoint me:

changing journey into imagination.... the newest 1 is ALOT better than the middle 1 just not as good as the orignal. i dont like the backlot tour, i miss residential street, the whole agrahbar area and dinorama, again alot of wasted potential, aladdin could have been so much more and dinorama could have been more than what it is... living seas removing the seacabs... i liked those rides, the pavilion (do they even call them pavilions now?? :veryconfu  ) lacks now.... I love WDW but some things do sort of lack

It was Eisner's grand spectacular. All thanks to his "guilt of looking for details"! Roy, get him out already!!

Like I said earlier Eisner is my biggest disappointment...he did great early on but then lost focus. Next thing you know we have Dino-Rama.

Yeah - Couldn't agree more on Universe Of Energy. Maybe it's just because I'm fighting to stay awake, but I don't even understand what the heck is going on.:veryconfu

Yer it's as if they couldn't think of anything to put there so they thought "Leys put something with dinosaurs in there" and they didn't really think through what they were doing!:hammer: :king:

I can't decide. Either Kali River Rapids or Test Track. I remember after riding each of these I thought, "I waited in line that long for this?"

I TOTALY agree with UoE goodness so many things wrong with that ride don't know where to start.... global warming still in question my and I like Ellen & Bill Nye.

AK is the best park in my humble opinion - everyone is so happy and cheerful, park is the cleanest, and the animals and walkways are fantastic!!!

Biggest dissapointment - and I know you are going to to think I am :hammer: but Fantasmic was pretty bad. I was looking forward to it but it was to loud and very boaring to me.

I’d have to say that I wasn’t especially disappointed about any one particular attraction or park on my last few visits. Overall, I’d have to say the biggest let down was the condition of a lot of things. I was surprised that some attractions/buildings/what-have-you just looked kind of, well, shabby. Some of it was rather sad, really.

I know this might seem a bit 'sad', but my friends and I always headed for coffee at Forty Thirst Street on the corner of Downtown Disney Westside. It was a great place to people watch, and we've spent many hours there while the children went off round DTD or were in the nearby AMC cinema. Very disappointed when there last December to discover it's gone and now just a small booth with the original site an ice cream parlour! Pity

I was disappointed about the prices in the parks! Wow! Food and souvenirs were rather expensive. I wasn't prepared for that and I didn't budget enough $.

As for attractions, I was disappointed in the animation tour
(non-existent), imagination (lack of) and kali river rapids (short and uneventful.)

Several:
1. MGM - never liked it, very undisneylike.
2. New JII. Blah
3. I MISS HORIZONS AND WOM

However, no matter what, I LOVE Walt Disney World. Nothing will ever change that. I wish I was there now.

Swiss Family Treehouse - why is it still there?

Because it takes up hardly any space and is very easy to maintain. Not everything has to be an e-ticket. Swiss is a fun diversion. It filled with tiny details that personally I like a lot.

What else are they going to put in such a small piece of real estate.

No way Kali River Rapids rules!!

Raft Rides are kinda dumb in my opinion. If the point is to ride something just to get soaking wet, I can always jump in a fountain somwhere.

I really wish Kali would have expanded its story more. Right now the scenes of the tarnished forrest hold little ressonance.

Plus, raft rides are so darn unorginal. There a dime a dozen.

I agree - I like the Treehouse. Always have.
