Dave's a pro so I'm gonna use his style. However I don't think there can be a neutral (atleast for me), since the rides are different it either is better or worse. It might be better in some ways and worse in others, but OVERALL I can stack em....

PLUS
Horizons -------> Mission Space
World of Motion -------> Test Track
Universe of Energy -------> Ellen's Energy Adventure
Timekeeper -------> Monster's Inc Laugh Floor (FAV UPGRADE)
WWtbaM -------> Toy Story Midway Mania
The Living Seas -------> Nemo and Friends
Food Rocks -------> Soarin

I love this upgrade, I wasn't a big fan of Horizons, but MS is a monster attraction, my favorite in Epcot. I still remember my dad holding me up so I could look over the "Pardon our dust" sign.

I dont remember WoM, but TT is great

I dont remember UoE, but EEA is a tight ride

I never went into Timekeeper, but not because it wasnt good, but because there was no seats. Standing up all day gets tiring (even if i am athletic) and when i go to an attraction I want to enjoy it, not having to worry about my feet aching and getting yelled at for sitting on handrails. MILF on the other hand no ONLY has the BEST acroynm EVER, but the attraction makes me laugh EVERYTIME. If you can't laugh at MILF, imo, you don't have a sence of humor. If I could only go on 1 attraction in MK 2x, it would be MILF for sure. It's the only one (besides sometimes Jungle Cruise, but not really anymore) that isn't the same everytime.

Nothing against Regis, but TSMM is just too good, Fantasmic is the only show that can stand up against a ride of that magnitude

My dad worked for United Technologies, so we got backstage treatment whenever we went to the Living Seas (free drink, etc), even still, Turtle Talk with crush is awsome and I really love the nemo update. The movie is an aquatic icon.

I dont remember food rocks and I dont like soarin. But since Soarin is such a draw, and loved so much, i gotta go with upgrade

MINUS

Alien Encounter -------> Stitch's Great Escape (VOTED)
Mr. Toad's Wild Ride -------> Pooh....something
Tarzan -------> Finding Nemo the Musical

Imo, not including ride "upgrades", AE to SGE is automatic. How do you turn a dominate E-ticket show (imo) into a lame excuse for an attraction that cant even get a wait time? So what if they're complaints, theres an EASY solution.....make a height restriction. I dont know too many 'little children' that are 60 inches tall. And if there are midgets or little people who are obviously old enough to handle it, just let em on in. Instead they spend tons of money making an AMAZING attraction crappy as opposed to instuting a taller height restriction

I loved MTWR, but ive never gone one pooh, but i doubt it's as good. Pooh is mild compared to the stuff the toad got into! I just realized that MTWR looks like money, tuesday..... etc

Tarzan to NtM was bad imo because it killed the theming. Dinoland USA just doesnt fit with nemo, making it a VERY small land. They need to build the excavator on and around the edge of Dinoland USA to bring back the dino theming to that cornor...

I really, extremely disagree.

Are you saying I don't have a sence of humour! :mad:

Ummmm...yea it was.:shrug:
i tried to change the poll but idk how.....

what was so much different? was there a figment? did you journey into imagenation? and does EEA follow the same track and have ride setup? b/c journey follows the same track, it justs shorter (although im lookin forward to the taste and feel station).

lol im sry jason, i just dont know how someone cant laugh. Sometimes I laugh the most when I walk in and see people up on the monstertron. Like when they're like "_____ wants to get up and dance" just the music and the camera and some granny shaking it cracks me up, n even if they dont dance, a couple seconds later "ding ding ding ding ding......or not". That guy is usually (only 1ce that guy looked normal) funny, but theres so much more depending on whose behind the mic and whose playing along. Like one time a lady was asked by the monster (not mac and cheese or sam and ella, the other one) to say her number b/c he was closing his eyes. And she fingered the number. Everyone lost it when he was like "did you let them know the number?" and she said yeah, and his jaw dropped. What he did next was priceless.....but i wont ruin it for anyone who hasnt seen it yet ;)

Maybe im just getting lucky and getting amazing CM's and participants, but EVERYTIME ive gone in with an open mind and laughed. I think anytime someone goes in thinking "you better be funny you better make me laugh" your not gonna even crack a smile and your gonna end up hating the attraction b/c your uptight

For example, people are obcessed with JII, and i went on it for the 1st time in dec. I could have gone in thinking "well this better be the best ride since space mountain or else im gonna hate, but instead i went in with an open mind stairing at everything astounded by how they did it up (like robin williams n flubber, rick moranas, n now the figment professor pictures), then getting on the ride i just tried to take everything in and i thought it was a really imagenative (no pun intended) ride. Now I didn't like the post ride stuff, but im gonna make sure i go on JIYI in 5 days b/c it is a really fun attraction (although i dont think its as amazing as people with nastalsia colored glasses on)

JII they completely gutted out the elaborite ride sets and replaced them with different ones.

UOE-EEA was basically just a new movie and some paint on the dinosaurs.

Just watch a video of the original Journey To Imagination. You won't beleive what they did to the attraction for V. 2 and 3

I honestly am not impressed with the show and if you actually rode Timekeeper you might see why. I did laugh occasionally at the MILF show but I was hating it by the end. I honestly felt like I wasted 20 minutes of my life that even SGE didn't drag out of me. The only reason I visit Tomorrowland now is because I enjoy the night-time view of it but otherwise, it feels kinda pointless. I really dislike MILF and refuse to ride it or even look at it.

:lol: Thanks. If you get stuck with funny CM's you are lucky, If not, you just got cheated out of time you could be riding SM.

Seriously, as a fan of Monsters Inc, the show just depressed me. It could have been much more, like a full version of the musical "Put That Thing Back Where it came From" seen on the DVD with the original voice cast done in 3-D with in theater AAs and effects like Muppet Vision.

The made up characters with poor quality CG work that hardly move realistically, voiced by people who act like grade schoolers (and not in a god way) did not impress me like Turtle Talk. The hard plastic benches didn't help either. Really, the only thing that impressed me was the second portion of the queue.

lol not an attraction, thats a lack of an attraction. If I started adding stuff like that and WoL the question would in escence be the same as "whats your favorite closed attraction"
JII they completely gutted out the elaborite ride sets and replaced them with different ones.
making it like SM ---> SM which imo is the same thing not a completly different attraction
UOE-EEA was basically just a new movie and some paint on the dinosaurs.
then maybe i shouldnt have added it if it isnt different, i thought it was a totally different experience. I'm watching the origonal now and the music and voice over (imo) is utterly horendous. I cant even stay entertained by the visuals and audio, so im typing in the process
It's hard too when the joke isn't good.
different strokes i guess

I'll watch it after UoE

I did actually ride (or stand) the timekeeper, 3 or 4 times in fact. I am WAY more impressed with MILF then timekeeper. It was a good show imo, but what mk did is an improvement.

UPDATE: After watching UoE I've realized it's a much more dull version of EEA (imo) and thus i shouldn't have added it. But since it's already there, oh well...

Looking at the poll results I love how every jumped on the terrible SGE bandwagon and forgot everything else. There is only 1 current vote for Horizons to Mission Space. Can see why though. MS is a good attraction and an okay replacement to Horizons.

I guess it is mostly based off of people's opinions so it is good that you have it up there. There might be people who actually hate EEA. :eek:

lol because MS is actually a good attraction. its all about the massive difference going from great to crappy. imo MS did horizons justice

Tru tru, although I hate soarin, but that doesnt stop me from realizing how good of an attraction it actually is. ive gone on it 2x (1ce 2 see what it was all about 2x b/c we were starved n ate in the land n got a FP b/c it was up 30 minutes after getting it n my dad wanted to go on it)....after riding it for the 2nd time my dad and i agreed it wasnt for us.

But re looking at the ones up there, MILF, pooh, and SGE are the only really debatable ones up there. i can see why people dont like milf and like the timekeeper, i think even now you could re work the timekeeper into stuff and it wouldnt look too dated. pooh idk so im just putting it up there b/c most people think so, and SGE which is obviously a downgrade and the first one done for a stupid reason. No not money, the attraction wasnt dated, it was too scary n moms and dads were HELL BENT on forcing little johnny and suzzie onto the ride until they ed their diapers. They COULD have logically made a change but they opted to stitchify TL instead.... :hurl:

on a side note everyone seams to love polls, there is a best attraction in WDW pole(s) going on right now in a seldomly looked into section. Heres one of the links, big thunder railroad vs Pirates of the caribean http://forums.wdwmagic.com/showthread.php?t=433485

Mission Space is a great attraction and it really deserves more praise than critiscism.

True also. As much as I sound like I hate the hell out of the Laugh Floor I really don't. It is, just as you say, that I have my nostalgia glasses on. I will admit that I like what MILF has to offer and can appreciate it, it just isn't my, or my family's, type of show. As for Alien Encounter, I will alway's kick myself in the butt for not riding it when I visited. The travel video commercial scared me silly and I basically freaked out. Even Timekeeper himself looked kind of frightening to a 6 year old like me. SGE's biggest failure is that it did not deliver to the audience it was intended for. I remember reading in one vacation guide for Disney how a visiting family completely hated the attraction after riding it. The mom was questioned by a surveyor, or author, and she replied to how dissapointing it turned out. The attraction was trying to hard to be a kid friendly show as suggested in the early concept art but instead turned out to be a true failure. At least the Laugh Floor is living up to it's potential, whereas SGE is really suffering for several reasons.

Just checked the poll results again. Pooh is in second place for being a lackluster ride. What was so special about Mr. Toad's Wild Ride?

I'm shocked, months on the forums n I think I founds someon younger then me! You never rode AE or Mr Toads Wild Ride? To be honest, looking back at it (b/c i rode it recently in cali), it really wasnt that good of a ride, but I'll STILL wait in a 20-30 minute line for it b/c of the nastalsia. It's the ride I remember the most from my childhood (id like 2 say it's the 1st ride ive ever ridden, but i, nor my family, knows that). So taking it for a spin is still entertaining for me, even though it lacks pretty much everything.

It's like a run away car and the cool thing is you actually die and go to hell :). Just think of riding around in a pop up book. It's more like a carnival ride then a WDW attraction though, but maybe all Fantasyland attractions are like this n i just dont take notice b/c im never riding them. I doubt that pooh is much better (if it uses the same track), but it's just Mr.Toad pimped the toadettes.
