With different issues TBA has been having, they may have decided to wait to make sure that is operating well and any issues are fixed.

This wasn’t something trying to get greenlit like a new attraction or enhancement. This is planned required maintenance. It has been being planned for years. It is happening.

All rides are open until they are announced to be closed. Being included doesn't mean it wont be changed later.

This probably should be in the Imagineering section, but I’ve always hoped they’d surprise us and bring back the Rainbow Caverns. What a fun surprise it would be to have a new path created by dynamite, taking a hard left into a new show building, exploring the caverns, and returning to Tumbleweed and the current ride finale.

Not just greenlit, but worked on for at least a few months.
The way Imagineering presents itself and things like HGTV have really done a disservice to the amount of work that actually goes into a project before anything readily visible from the outside ever happens.

Just my own personal view, but I have zero faith Disney can do anything in a timely basis and whatever they intended to do in the design stages gets cost cut to death and what we end up with that takes far too long to complete will be a disappointment.

Especially with a re-track, there would be a considerable lead time to get the parts fabricated before they were ready for install.
