HA! I thought I was the only one that cared about the napkins! I take a stack to have at home...and I never use them. I've done it for many years. I know it's a stange thing to collect, but I always do it. I also keep all my bags from every trip. Thanks again for the update!

Long-time lurker, rare poster here. Love the new napkin discussion! (And the napkins, too.)

I, also, have many WDW napkins liberated from their storage prisons of wood, metal, or just sitting helplessly on tables waiting for birds to do unspeakable things to them. I feel it's my duty to save them from a fate worse than recycling. We're giving these napkins a chance to see the world, to visit us in our home, to. . .Oh, the heck with it. I just like anything and everything Disney. I bring back pretty much everything-napkins, plates, etc.

But to hear that some people USE these magical reminders of happier days at WDW seems almost wrong somehow. They should be stored and viewed with the respect of fine paper goods. :)

Hey. You should post more often. We need more opinions from "Up Nort' "

I think this whole thing is hilarious. Pages and pages about napkins. My Dad would be proud. He hoards napkins from everywhere.. not just WDW. There's boxes and boxes of them in our basement. He's always looking for those "high quality" napkins, which are thick and very nice to the touch. I guess he's a napkin connoisseur. I'll have to tell him about this thread.

Oh, and BTW. I like both designs, but the new one is pretty sweet in a cool retro way.

It is amazing that we can just stare and be amazed at a picture on a napkin. I love the new one. Its just so classic Mickey. Maybe Ill get a tattoo of the napking on my arm :lookaroun Thanks for the photo Patrick.

Thanks for the update, Patrick. Now I have to ponder the merits of both napkin designs before I choose my favorite!

You guys are right. It's the attention to small details that makes Disney stand apart. And from another Northerner, thanks for keeping us "in the know".

10 Pages, and still no news on the cups... :p
Lol, back on page 9 I said they hadn't been changed...yet.

I don't blame you though for not looking through every page. We already made it to 11 pages lol.

I really enjoy the vintage mickey design.

Someone mentioned wanting a t-shirt like that. I want one too, has anyone seen that design on t-shirts in WDW?
There is a shirt similar...

one of my favorites. There has been MUCH more retro clothing coming out. And like I said, I'm seeing the old WDW globe logo on more and more shirts and other merchandise.

OK, I just read 11 pages about napkins, and the strange thing is, I care.

Oh and it is 5:25 in the morning.

So if all goes well I will be using those napkins in less then 3 days. (that is if my baby isn't sick, or at least gets over it fast.) Sometimes being a parent stucks. Just think of the things I will wipe up with those napkins.

Seriously, I am really hoping I get to use the napkins!

Okay, I have been putting off even opening this post because:
1. I knew that I would care.
2. I knew that if I cared, I would be such a dork.
3. It would make me want to go to Disney, just to see the napkins.

So, yes I opened the post and read it. Yes, I am a total dork. Yes, I will be making plans to go to Disney this summer, just to see the bloodly napkins.

Thanks for the pics, love the napkins.

and yet you still opened it?

you said your little remark for the day. You met your quota. Time to turn in for the day, don't you think.

Couldn't have said it better! Thanks for the pics, Patrick... it just makes me more excited to go next month!! I always bring home at least 1 napkin for my scrap book, but now that you guys have given me the idea, I too may have to bring back more

Thanks for the pix.

BTW - Who is this Montu person? I saw his uncalled for, rude comment, and searched through some old posts.

What's his/her problem?
