Exactly! So...to be able to reserve Space Travel or arrange appliances doesn't seem so completey strange....as long as it doesn't become a full retail location...
though...Sunglass Hut now has a location in Adventureland ( Which I think is terrible)

We rode this ride so many times (during the time of the alphabet tickets) since it didn't require any ticket to ride. This attraction is burned into my Disney brain.
Me too... this song and the song from Space Mountain...I bet there are a lot of people that never even knew Space Mountain had a full theme song. Here's To The Future... Funny how years later I realize I was singing a commercial...lol RCA....Leads the way....leads the way.....

Walt Disney knew the connection between memory and music.
I wish current Disney management would realize this. How am I singing the Universe of Energy theme 30 years later if music for an attraction doesn't matter?

That is a HUGE thing missing for me. In Marty Sklar's book 'One Little Spark' he talked about how he has implored new imagineers to come up with original songs and music for attractions. Something that connects with people. The most successful attractions, in my opinion, have their own unique songs.

Epcot was about wonder and inspiration. Radok blocks were a small part of that. It was unexpected. I still get excited when the whole theater rotates - how cool is that? Too bad the attraction is not cared for and the information is 20 years old. Not to mention the climax of the original attraction was taken out.

That seems a given. I would add though that the WS and FW visions need a complete rethink. Modern Museums and ease of global travel have changed the original EPCOT model and made it obsolete. It is now perfect for re-Imagineering.

IMO
  1. Please show me a museum that tells you to be creative and try to make the future possible.
  2. Please show me an international travel destination that's represented in World Showcase that is cheaper than Orlando to go to.

It would make sense to merge the Wonders of life pavilion with Mission Space. The dome could be incorporated into a ride with star field planetarium. It would be a way to have a family experience in addition to the thrill of Mission Space. The entrance to Wonders could be routed through the Mission pavilion creating one grand Space. The larger pavilion would focus on space exploration and the future.
I agree Mission Spce is sort of a opne note experience...and the family friendly room feels like an arcade and jungle gym... Surely this could be expanded and made into a more complete experience without sacrificing another pavilion...Yes a planetarium type attraction would be wonderful... Even adding a family type ride like Universal did in Japan Space Fantasy spinning roller coaster...just to have another experience that would be more family friendly but not an arcade game...
And can you please tweak Mission: SPACE so that you're actually going to Mars and you exit at the Mars camp?
