Or Star Wars land…I think it’s just missing movement, whether from a fountain or some sort of whirllygig. It’s the same issue as galaxy’s edge, there’s no kinetics

Too much maintenance for todays Disney! So build a better one.
yep!!!! sadToo much maintenance for todays Disney!
I would - listen to the bgm, watch the SSE shows at night, meet characters, sit with Walt, look at nature. In fact, if I had to choose one pavilion/neighborhood in Epcot to spend an entire day in, I'd choose World Celebration.
How far back do you mean? This was the site plan when the Festival Center was still a thing:Anyone know what the large differences between the original EPCOT redo garden designs and this were?
I agree that a fountain would make a huge difference. But one of these would also help with the kinetics.

You know what is timeless and will never become dated? A planter.Epcot probably has more water for guests to see than all of the other parks combined...FoN was impressive in the 1980s and 1990s but had become rather dated.
I want to see a walkthrough tonight, especially during a SSE light show.
I listened to the full new hour loop. It’s really cool that it integrates the instrumental stylings of each of the Epcot pavilions so you’ll have segments that are evocative of the Land or the Seas or Mission Space or Test Track or a World Showcase nation. It’s really well done. I dig it.
Highlighted yellow to match Walt squatsIt's nice. It's fine. It needs a fountain. That's it. Nothing big or crazy, just a nice water feature in the hub to break up the greenery and concrete.
Need to see it at night. It should be absolutely perfect then at least.
You can integrate musical stylings without integrating melodies. You can’t hear portions that make you think of China or Mexico or The Seas? I easily can. It’s the same strategy used in the Soarin Around the World score.I listened to it too and I don’t really get that at all…
I’m thrilled that they went the extra mile and gave us an original score as opposed to Disney songs that sound futuristic, but there isn’t a single note of any Epcot song except for the new Anthem? Major missed opportunity.
It all feels the same except for the blatant international interludes here and there.
I'm two minutes in and I've already heard strains of the Seas, Test Track, and the Soarin' queue. Lovely! You can integrate musical stylings without integrating melodies. I can see your flipper in that pic.Symbolic difference between the old Epcot in this picture to what we've now seen in the hub. A big difference in how to do open space and Landscaping.View attachment 757608
It’s gone. There are some remnants of it but it’ll likely all be redone soonAnybody see what happened to the inventors circle (used to be at Innoventions east breezeway in front of the land)?
