For those who don't know, Justin Bieber is touring in Europe, and was in the Netherlands.
He and some of his boys visited the Anne Frank House for about an hour, and he signed the guest book before he left.
You all can tell me if I'm just overreacting from my intense dislike for Bieber, but here's what he wrote in the guest book. At the Anne Frank House museum.
And I quote: Truly inspiring to be able to come here. Anne was a really great girl. Hopefully she would have been a belieber.

That last word is not misspelled. He actually used the word that refers to his whacked out fans.
He was apparently so affected by the story of her suffering and death under the Nazis that he was worried about her being a fan of his?

Again, I ask if this is as bad as I think it is.

I'm one of Bieber's biggest haters, but honestly, I think you're definitely overreacting.
Really? You don't think what he wrote is exceptionally thoughtless and stupid? The first two sentences were fine. The third made the whole thing about him.

I agree with the others, he's just a clueless childish idiot that doesn't know any better. I'm sure if Anne frank was here shed have hated him like the rest of us. Not too mention shed probably be thinking of something more worthwhile to worry about.

Although I'm not hellbent over his comment, I'll admit he's even more annoying to me, now that he's said that. I think I dislike his fans more than I dislike him. That "belieber" term is so irritating and stupid.
I think I feel just like you, the comment was just another in a long line of things that annoys me about Bieber.
Here's a list:
The way he wears those oversized hats
His insipid singing
His fans
His reckless driving
The way his "friends" behave

Here's my list:

His songs- His singing voice is descent, but his music lyrics are just terrible. Absolutely terrible.
The way he looks at the camera with one eye raised, sometimes. What the?
HIS FANS!!!!!!
His action- Getting into fights, trying to bring a flippin' monkey to Germany, making stupid comments
His fashion
The way he tries to act black sometimes... Drives me insane.

When he opens his mouth and says these things it truly reflects his immaturity as a young man. It's obvious he has a LOT of growing up to do. Hopefully someday he'll grow up and realize the ignorance in the things he said. Until then, he'll just be existing in the lame-brained bubble he's in.

Not going to bash the fans, tho. My niece is a die-hard. She's a sweet girl with teenage blinders on. At the very least, I hope the devotion she has for her object of affection is someday transferred to a spouse & family. Until then, I'm okay with her being a naive young girl. She'll learn in time. ;)

Didn't Anne Frank cover her walls with pics of people she would be interested in as a teen girl? I have very, very little knowledge of Anne Frank but to me it seems like a good jester that came out wrong. He still is an awkward teen at the end of the day. Someday we will be watching VH1 Behind the Music, Where did all the Beliebers go? Just wonder if his life will become a big train wreck like so many before him.

I have a feeling it will. It seems as though his maturity fails more tests than it passes.

Maybe it makes me a bad person, but I'm kinda looking forward to seeing his first mug shot.

Yes, this is horrible. It's classless and tasteless.

As for Justin and his followers... Don't defend him because he's Canadian... Ask the people of Vancouver what they think of him and his fans... They don't like him either...

After his concert in Vancouver, there were fans that found it funny and worthwhile to deface the Rick Rypien memorial outside the arena... Biiiig uproar in Vancouver.

So yes, when he grows up, if he ever does, I hope he sees *his* historical impact.
