Parts of it, absolutely.Oh, and she also thinks the Mickey Views report is BS just to weed out the leakers.
There are grains of truth in the RSR chatter, but from what I hear it isn't a realistic proposal for MK.

Tom Sawyer rafts? And the liberty square riverboat!
And those camels that spit water?Tom Sawyer rafts?
That isn't really a "ride" but a means to get to TSI.Tom Sawyer rafts?
They also used to have the swan boats although of course those have been gone for years.Tom Sawyer rafts?
And Mike Fink Keel Boats. They also used to have the swan boats
And everywhere one to two hours a day in the Summer!!And those camels that spit water?
And if they expanded capacity with just C and D attractions and no big E ride, they'd be crucified on these boards.
Not that Disney should pay attention to the wailing that would ensue if it were the right thing to do for the parks.
Not that I have pity, as they're in a mess of their own making, but....
They have a *tight* needle to thread here. They need to add capacity in all four parks, but they need the added capacity to outpace the attendance upticks the expansions are sure to bring. They need ancillary attractions and entertainment to pull people away from the headliners. These are the same things they've been cutting for years now.
Think of how much better EPCOT would be with Cherry Tree Lane and the PLAY pavilion taking a chunk out of the crowd? DHS with its streetmosphere, an additional attraction or two in SWGE plus dining and a show or two? MK with something in the Stitch space, more Main Street entertainment, a fully-functioning day parade and a headlining night parade?
Frustrating.
I think you are right. I believe they do not plan to increase capacity to MK as Genie+ and ILL and the "fixes" to DAS solves all the capacity problems.Parts of it, absolutely.

So, on the west side of the park four boat rides -- Jungle Cruise, POTC, Tiana, and a new Moana ride. Aren't the three existing rides, with Tiana opening soon, enough? Let's not forget IASW in Fantasyland.
People were hardly excited for Poppins and still attack Swirling Saucers even though it’s a great flat ride. We all want Flying Carpets in a dumpster.SO many people here have been saying for years that Disney NEEDS C- and D-ticket rides when they open something new to give people something else to do than a headliner. With all due respect, I'm not sure where you pulled that take from.

Thank you for that information! That's good to know as I always look at that "unused" land and wondered why they didn't expand the park there. Always seemed like a no brainer, but now I understand why!Yellow, as mentioned. The red area is preserved land given the types of trees in the area and isn't supposed to be touched (I want to say cypress trees, but I could be completely wrong)

I may be misremembering but I think she only mentioned coco as one of the mentioned possibilities for back there not that she specifically believed it to be the case.Alicia Stella has said she believes Moana is going in Adventureland as a boat ride think mini Splash Mountain.
She also believes Coco is what lies beyond big thunder mountain using that more intense Soarin’ ride system.
I like JOW for what it is. I'm just wondering if it is the reason there is now no longer a water fountain in the same area.Exactly. a lot of complaints about Play! as well.
And JoW is being dumped on too - for various reasons, but along them is that it is a "waste of space" for what it is, like all the folks who deride it as a "splash pad".
People say that WDW needs lesser attractions but certainly do complain when they are built arguing that Disney should build bigger/better stuff. Granted it isn't always the same folks, but it is certainly out there.
IMHO, what Disney needs to do with build one big headlining E-ticket along with like 3 B/C attractions.

I think you could add, like, three super simple limited-motion animatronics along the path to properly build toward the shaman and you’d be good. Something like sleeping viperwolf followed by direhorse drinking from stream followed by hexapede opening and closing its collar.Look at how much people trash NRJ -- the complaints about it generally boil down to it not being an E ticket. Most of the complaints relate things that would hypothetically be great additions, but would increase the scale (and corresponding budget) to at least D+ status if not E.
And that's in a land that has an E!
