Out of curiosity, how would that have worked logistically? Was the plans to remove/relocate World Dr, or would they have built a themed tunnel/bridge under/over World Drive?
Bridge(s). There was an early proposal to bridge the drive to extend the park (with a wide walkway themed so not to see below). A very early proposal of what became RnRC had a coaster going over World Drive.

There was also a proposal to move guest parking over there with a new tram bridge routing around Fant and the lake and connecting to the main entrance.

Alicia Stella has said she believes Moana is going in Adventureland as a boat ride think mini Splash Mountain.

She also believes Coco is what lies beyond big thunder mountain using that more intense Soarin’ ride system.
There are already two boat rides in Adventureland -- Jungle Cruise -- which has already been revamped to remove "questionable" scenes and POTC. Where does she think a third Moana boat ride would go?

I believe this is the expansion plot everyone has been talking about.

So, on the west side of the park four boat rides -- Jungle Cruise, POTC, Tiana, and a new Moana ride. Aren't the three existing rides, with Tiana opening soon, enough? Let's not forget IASW in Fantasyland.

Moana is a different kind of boat ride.

But nobody complained about Jungle, Pirates, and Splash all in a row for 30 years, so this probably wouldn’t change that anyway.

Well, to be fair they all are very different kind of rides aside from maybe Pirates and IASW and even then they have completely different vibes.

Correct, not sure why WDI has an obsession with boat rides now.
