Best CS at Hollywod Studios?

Hey guys, we have to eat CS twice when we visit Hollywood Studios this coming June. When we've been before we've eaten at Backlot Express and ABC. There is no way I'm going to ABC again :hurl: so would like some suggestions of folks favorite CS places to eat at the Studios? Thanks

Pizza Planet is the only CS I will do there...

Mom and I went to Pizza Planet in October in a moment of "Dinner is a LONG time off/Hungry Horrors." We were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food allowed on the DDP and honestly, it wasn't bad at all. The side salad is HUGE and the pizza really was tasty.

Don't get me wrong--it wasn't to die for, but it was a ton of food that tasted good for an even better value.

Starring Rolls. They have huge sandwiches and huge desserts and they really had flavor. Best hidden gem if you ask me. Backlot a close second but do try starring rolls or at least go in and look at their choices and decide. How how I miss the world and DHS is our favorite park.

I agree Pizza Planet although it can be noisey due to the arcade does have some great pizza and the salad is fresh and good sized that comes with it, I cannot remember the dessert I am thinking I got a rice crispie Mickey treat. :dazzle:

Backlot Express is my personal favorite; Starring Roles is good, too. If you have kids you can't go wrong with Pizza Planet, but it tends to get pretty crowded.

Allears.net has Fairfax Fare in the list of places to eat but doesn't say if it's CS or TS. The menu looks CS to me but I'm not sure? It's also not in the list they publish of places that are on the dining plan but its from 2009 so might not be up to date. Anyone know?

You can check to see what kind of service each restaurant requires on the Disney website. I looked quickly and it looks like Fairfax is QS as well (second link is the actual DDP pdf file). Enjoy!

Depends partly on when you go. Pizza Planet is air conditioned, and some of the others aren't.

I love eating at the Sunset Ranch Market. Nice location on Sunset Boulevard and great for people watching. It's outside though so no air conditioning.
