I am hoping to take advantage of the birthday promotion and was wondering which restaurant is the best for recognizing a childs birthday. Thanks :)

The Whispering Canyon did a great job of celebrating me and humilating my DH for my bday! :) And Donald's Breakfast at AK also did a great job too!!!

My niece celebrated her 3rd birthday at the Crystal Palace. All of the characters came to her table at one time and the CMs made a point to wish her a happy birthday when they brought out her cake (pre-ordered). The atmosphere in that restaurant is festive to begin with, but they put forth a good effort to make it a special event. Hope this helps.

Chef Mickeys. They even sing a song to celebrate all of the birthdays with the characters and all of the guests swinging their napkins around. The kids love it. They will bring them out a cupcake and a "It's my Birthday" pn and a special place mat. Any of the restaurants on property will allow you to order a birthday cake for a special event also if you are interested in getting a cake.

After hearing such good things, we are going to celebrate DS 5th bday at Chef Mickey's. I don't think I'm going to special order a cake seeing as they'll give him a cupcake and I know there are plenty of dessert options at the buffet. I did go to 1900 Park Fare for my nephews 2nd bday and it was a good time.

I just celebrated mine at Cinderella's Royal Table. There was special silver "confetti" of the castle, Cindy's coach, etc., on the table. Everyone got a cupcake with a candle who was celebrating something special, and the Fairy Godmother led everyone in the Happy Birthday song. We were seated in the center of the room and the table next to us had another birthday person, and the Fairy Ggodmother performed right in front of us. If you are a sucker for the "Disney Magic", as I am, it was wonderful!

For an adult.....(My favorite is)

The Brown Derby in the studios gets my vote...The signature Grapefruit Cake is to die for! (I'll be there on 10/27, incidentally, which happens to be my birthday!)

We special ordered a cake for my Mom's birthday last year at 50's Prime Time. We never got it; then again, we didn't have to pay for it either, so I guess it was a wash.
