Just one guys opinion, best based on both criteria:
MK- Crystal Palace
EP-Chefs De France
HS-50s Prime Time
AK-Flame Tree BBQ (havent been there since Yak and Yeti opened and Im not crazy about Rainforest
Magic Kingdom:
Cindella's Royal Table - The food is standard, but saying you ate in the castle is just awesome. Not to mention if your lady or kids love the princesses it's worth it.
Epcot: only table restaurant I ate at was Coral Reef, it was okay.
Animal Kingdom: Tusker House is awesome! and really your only other option is Yak & Yeti, and I hate Asian Fusion (i'm asian, so i'm picky about my Asian food).
Hollywood Studios: I ditched my reservation for Brown Derby lol so I could eat at Prime Time Cafe, and lunch at Sci Fi Diner the next day. Prime Time Cafe had a better food (YUM FRIED CHICKEN!!!) the ribs were good at Sci Fi diner too. The atmosphere was a little more intimate and fun at Sci Fi Diner..but then again if you have a table full of misfits you can make prime time cafe a lot of fun.
Magic Kingdom: Crystal Palace (although the atmosphere of CRT is awesome too. CP atmosphere & food trump it for me)
Epcot: Garden Grille (Akershus gets 2nd place)
DHS: Sci Fi Diner
Animal Kingdom: Only been to Rainforest here, and I love it. However the picnic thing looks cool to me. If it weren't for 3 or more people, DH & I would've tried it a few weeks ago.
MK - Liberty Tree
EPCOT - Chefs du France (bistro may be better, I have not eaten there)
DHS - Brown Derby
AK - Tusker House
In MK it came down to CP and LT. LT gets the nod because it's table service. When taking into account atmosphere, someone serving me food wins over me getting it myself. Getting plated food (as opposed to family style) is even better, but the plated meals at Tony's does not make up for the lacking food.
EPCOT - Most places have decent food. France has atmosphere.
DHS - Brown Derby, hands down
AK - I just really did not like the service at Y&Y or the food itself. I may give it a second chance somday, but for now it dwells at the bottom of my list.
As others have said, there are much better places in the various resorts.
MK: Nothing like a breakfast at CP :sohappy:
Epcot: Le Cellier of course (Eh i'm canadian!) but many other very good restaurants there.
DHS: Prime time
AK: Never tried any
