Been There Done That NOT Going Back

as far as prime time goes, it's not my thing. i've done it a few times, but about 11 years ago was the final blow for me when they forced me to eat more of my food and i almost flat out tossed my cookies at the table. not a good look. although, to the OP, you should take your hat off at the table. it amazes me how many people eat at the table with a cap on, both old and young.

couple of my favorites popped up on this list from others. i love the water pageant, le cellier and the boardwalk. i even proposed to my wife on the boardwalk. oh and on san angel...i love the food, but that place will turn your table over in 25 minutes if you let them. i despise that about it.

as far as my least favorite, my wife and i agreed after we ate at jiko in the animal kingdom lodge that we wouldn't return. the food was good, but the atmosphere is non-existent. also, i remember being so offended on my first trip to conservation station that i still to this day call it "constipation station."

- Small World: Classic or not that song is annoying.

- Sounds Dangerous: it really sounds boring

- American Idol: never have, never will

- Stitch: I don't need to smell that burp.

- Tommorowland Speedway: Once you are old enough to drive there is no point. Actually once you are old enough for go karts there is no point.

- Primetime Cafe: If I'm with my mom on the trip, then I don't really need to go here to be reprimanded for every little thing I do during dinner.

- Dumbo/Magic Carpets/Triceratops Spin/Astro Orbiter: My cousin's kids will probably force me to ride one of them and I'll oblige. But if I don't have to I'll skip them without remorse.

I think it REALLY depends on your Skipper. The first time I went on it I had a skipper who really went beyond deadpan to just really boring. I went on it another time and it was cute. Some people LOVE the attraction though so I looked at youtube to see what the fuss is about. If you youtube Skipper Morgan or Danger Bob for example, you can see some examples of better skippers. The ride itself in terms of visual appeal, as you say isn't much to look at when you can see the real thing at DAK, but it's supposed to be all about the Skipper and the jokes.

Still not my favorite attraction, but I might give it a 3rd chance on our upcoming trip. This is compared with the fact that I've been on almost every other MK attraction dozens of times, sometimes dozens per trip.

I'll have to keep that in mind. I do remember the skipper trying to tell jokes but no one laughed and they weren't that funny. Good effort though, he was trying hard and made the ride more fun than it would have been with no skipper.

San Angel- Never have eaten there
Backlot Tour-It used to be bigger, but I think its very interesting! And I love the explosion scene because you apart of it!
Stitch- Its better than what used to be there...the only thing I hate about it is the breath stitch has lol
Prime Time- I thought it was ok. But that is how it was in the 50's, the culture.
Disney Quest- I love this! I am 19 and I want to go back! Its fun!

Star Wars Weekends.....while it was AWESOME, it was terrible at the same time. Just too much going on with 3 kids in tow. It felt like we had to sqeeze in everywhere we went in Hollywood Studios. Another personal 'never do again' would be to try to hit parks on back-to-back days with the kids. They need a break between....so do Mom & Dad!
Really? I have been on Star Wars weekends myself (not intentionally because I find Star Wars to be extremely overrated), and while it is crowded it doesn't seem overly-so. I only notice slight increases in wait times, nothing really significant. There are usually enough events spread-out that absorb the Star Wars nerds and keep them from clogging the queues.

For me,
Ellens Universe of Energy--45 mins REALLY???
Captain EO :hurl: (so glad to see others that didn't like it as well)
The movies in World Showcase
Sounds Dangerous--can't stand to have noise that close to my ear.
Narnia-- :brick: I agree WTH??
And whats up with Backlot? Last Sat they didn't even have "actors" in the opening scene....is that the normal now?
American Idol--- hardly watch the REAL show, why would I watch it here
and finally
American Adventure ....:snore: I actually fell asleep, so did the rest of my party LOL

That Imagination thing with Figment. The queue is way better than the ride. Besides, now that I've seen the ORIGINAL version thanks to Youtube, there's no way I can enjoy it now, knowing what it used to be...

And Stitch. Experienced it once. NEVER AGAIN!!!!

We went on Star Wars weekends the past 2 years (again - not intentionally...just when DF got out of med school) but we do enjoy Star Wars. On Saturday during Star Wars weekend - we went to MK for they had 8am opening...we walked right on everything. EVERYTHING. numerous times. Did the whole park minus adventureland in about 2 hours. Loved it.

Oh, where do I begin :p

Big Thunder Mountain - its eh. it doesn't feel Disney enough to interest me, and its not exciting enough of a roller coaster for me to wait on line for.

Hall of Presidents - it was cool, once is enough though.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - eh.

Stitch's Great Escape - I somehow always sit in a chair that doesn't work, or either I dont know how to properly sit in the chair.

Monster's Inc Laughfloor - super cute, but no desire to do it again.

Innoventions - I refuse to walk back in there until there are actual Innoventions inside.

Ellen's Universe of Energy - zzzz.

Test Track - My personal car trips are far more intriguing.

Soarin - I know i will get flack for this one, but I don't see what the big deal is!

Beauty & The Beast Show at DHS - dated.

Sounds dangerous - im literally embarrassed for Disney with this one, those headphones - really? is it 1988?

Animal Kingdom - even though I don't like the idea of an Avatarland, I probably won't be back until there is one. The park just didn't do anything for me, I live near one of the most amazing conservation zoos (Bronx Zoo), so its hard to compare, no fault to Disney.

I think that's it :)

disneyquest is a definate. what a waste of space. full of rude children who run infront of you to get to whichever dated game they want to play. besides, why would i travel 4000 miles to play computer games?

sounds dangerous. just what the heck is that still doing in the park? get rid. absolute waste of a building.

nemo the musical. i do not understand this stage show. why would you force songs onto a movie that has none? did not enjoy it at all.

i also agree with soarin'. why we decided to queue for almost 2 hours for it i will never know.

I flat out fell asleep through Nemo. That isn't to say it's a bad show. I'd just hit the proverbial wall
I tend to doze off at nearly all shows.

AA, HoP, CBJ, all of them. Love 'em. But between getting up early, running around all day long, the heat, the soft seats, the relaxing show.... :lookaroun

Same here. On our first trip I was most excited about the tickets to la Nouba DH had surprised me with. I slept through most of it. He kept poking me, and I drank soda to try to stay awake, but it was just not happening. I felt so bad because I REALLY wanted to see that show, and DH, who was in college at the time had seaved extra money to take me...

The Universe of Energy.... I like the ride through with the Dinosaurs, but the video at the end is looooooong..... and despite the uncomfortable seat, i still can't keep my eyes open.

I love the American Adventure, but the other circle vision shows are a pass. We never do Monsters laugh floor do to the fear in my family of actually being picked on!

For me the biggest never going back is the African buffet restaurant at AK. It just smelled so bad that I couldn't eat any of the food. I kept telling myself that it was because I was pregnant so I forced myself to stick around so my family could eat. Then when we left I took a deep breath and my husband looked at me and told me he was impressed I had made it through that awful stench! Apparently even he wanted to :hurl: from the smell!

Oh and I could live without dinosaur. It was just a rough ride with no shock. I don't know how so many people get frightened by this ride. My (then) 4 year old even thought it was blah!

I agree about Dinosaur. I was very unimpressed with it.

Tuto Italia. Not because of bad food or bad service. It was the fact that our entree's arrived within 5-7 minutes of ordering, no joke ! We still had bread that we barely touched yet. Had a 5PM ADR which we were promptly seated and the restaurant had dozens of empty tables so it's not like they needed to turn the table over as quickly as possible. So I'm thinking they probably have the stuff pre-made sitting under heat lamps. When dinner hit the table so quickly I had too shake my head. After we placed our desert order I hit the stop watch on my phone and it was at the table in 2 minutes. Food was good but because it arrived so quickly it left me wondering.
