I hope it's open by the time your next trip comes around. I know there will be plenty of pics posted. DH really wants to go our next trip, which won't be until March...2013 (sigh). Can't wait for the reviews!

It is supposed to open in the fall at the same time that the new Little Mermaid Ride is if it the opening date time frame didn't change yet.

I think that October is the target opening time, but since nothing has been announced I would take it with a grain of salt.

Really don't know to be honest, but I believe all the rumors have been pointing to October for Mermaid and BatB. Guess it will depend on construction schedules if they can get it opened any earlier, but I usually don't get my hopes up for things like that.
Is their any news on what the menu will have?

:ROFLOL:I THINK by March 2013 BatB area will be open probably from what I have read here and there, as will most of the area except the mine coaster!
I HOPE THAT GIVES YOU A LILTTLE HOPE!? We are headed down in December 2013 so everything SHOULD be open.

If it's true, then it's only VERY high level CMs that are doing it and not front line hourly, which is typically true for any new attraction that is close to opening. So I'm not sure where you heard that rumor, but there is no cast preview of any kind going on at the moment for Mermaid. That area is still completely blocked off as a construction zone and only individuals with proper credentials can access it.
