Yes.. I am... And.... the Grocery Store. I can't just go shopping I have to critique the store as well. She wont let me leave her side...... much like a child because I will go get into trouble...

Actually, have thought about working for Disney now. I applied and got a call back 2 days later for a Retail Development Manager for DTD Disneyland but DW would not move to California... :(. I would love to work for Disney in a leadership role in Merchandise.

But for now... just have to be happy with getting yelled at by DW when I get caught putting a better outfit on a mannequin at WDW.

I think I have you all beat. I work IT... Just imagine my reaction when I saw a Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom screen reboot and saw they were running it on a windows system :banghead:

Plus I can't escape it at home because of websites and apps. I do try to limit the amount of ranting around my wife though lol.

I used to spend a lot of money at DS in my local mall. This was before it became a destination for Moms and little kids only. Back in the day, DS had animation cells, adult merchandise,and other things a true Disney fan could really enjoy buying.

My kids are all grown up and I am not a Soccer Mom, so sadly, very rarely go to DS.....

BUT... when I did... same drill... the DS CM's would see me circling the Mall and waiting for the best time to come in and revamp the store.. I am pretty sure as they saw me walking closer they heard the theme music to Jaws.. "OH NO.... HE'S BACK!!!!!!"

I completely understand where you are coming from! I used to do event planning full time, and my husband HATED going to events that I didn't plan because he said I always spent my time noticing what was wrong or could be better.

I think if I worked at the store that I would welcome your visits....less work for me!

Somebody to re-set the store for free.

I love hearing stories like this. It's nice to see that some people take pride in what they are paying for. :)

As an IT person...it's a mixed bag...on one hand...like someone said...it can be frustrating at Disney...however...I also have heard/seen people complain about systems not doing something, and totally failing to realize the scale that some of these systems have to be designed at to work for a resort the size of WDW.

On one hand...Disney sometimes causes me to cringe with IT...on the other hand...guests can be stupid.

Not to mention when I see a light bulb out or something like that...drives me up a wall...EVERY book you read on Disney's commitment to excellence...they stress things like that. And then when you see them not living up to it...ugh.
