Wow, thanks for all the feedback, everyone! I think I really understand the sentiments behind the opinions now. All valid points, but I think I agree with most; it should be moved outside the gates to the front of the park! Because I would miss it if it just disappeared, personally.)

Who would have thought that a structure could generate such intense feelings. If BAH must be moved from its current location in DHS, then outside the park, near the lake. I love the view down HB with the Hat at its current location. But apparently, I am in the minority.

No, plenty of people love it at it's current location. Many people choose not to get into discussions over the Hat on this board. There is a thread that has been going on since "2009" about the Hat.

You are not in the minority.

Sadly, if it were a minority it would be gone by now. The situation is that the majority of current visitors were never there when it wasn't so they don't know the difference. It doesn't really matter though because DHS is a dying place. If they do revive DHS, and I think they will, it will have a completely different theme other than old Hollywood.

Theme parks are about creating an environment. Does it make you think "Disney" or Old Hollywood?

That doesn't fix the problem. The problem is not the pin shop. The problem is the bad location of the BAH blocking the designed and intended view down the boulevard.
