They should have put the earful tower at the front of the park and redesigned the entrance with gates or an archway ,sans paramount and universal, with some 1930s small office buildings or faux warehouses that contain the ticket booths and turnstyles, so that you walk past a bunch of props and other 1930s/40s decor.... and the entire "backlot" itself is in fact the theme park/studio made up of hollywood past and present, from hollywood blvd with the chinese theatre, to modern day movie rides like star tours.

That way the Earful Tower is the undesputed symbol or icon of the park, and the chinese theatre is the weenie.

THAT would be perfect. I would miss it from the drive in, but it would solve a HUGE problem.

Not all of them.

*coughformerStudiosCM*
Heh. :D

I told you...They DID. I've heard them say it. Marketing however, has always hated it. Maybe for your reasons. Whatever. Like I said, screw marketing. I'm picking the icon I like. If you like Team Earful then go right ahead, we are at least united by disputing the Icon MARKETING wanted.

(I will tell you though...Backstage? All the Cast Members consider it the true icon too. I am (not) alone. :lookaroun  )

Where did they say it? And if it really was a DISNEY BRAND ICON that was INDISPUTABLE :)fork::ROFLOL:), why would we be having this fun talk? Something does not line up.

and I miiiiiiiiiiiiiiight be heading to Studios on this trip. Giving up all spending money, but who needs a pin, anyway? :D And yes, I'm excited for it, if I do get to go.
