I want to buy the starring nun! I hope she gets relocated at least. We always enjoy seeing her.

Mind you, just about the time that "Star Tours" will be going down for its rehab, the Backlot Expressis also slated to receive an extreme makeover. During which all of the generic props that currently decorate this cavernous eatery will supposedly be replaced with replicas of well-known costumes & vehicles from variousLucasfilmproductions. The way I hear it, the dining room closest to "Star Tours" will (of course) be "Star Wars" themed. While the dining room that's closest to the Stunt Spectacular stadium will then feature props & costumes from the "Indiana Jones" films.
Bus driver.Told by who?
I hope this Star Wars land rumor didn't originate from this old 2007 Jim Hill article that also details backlot express becoming a Star Wars/Indy themed eatery:

Don't know why...but I never liked that place. It always seemed totally uninviting.
Jim Hill has been more reliable than Jay Rasulo in the last 5 years.Mind you, Jim Hill isn't known for his accuracy...
CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE CLOSE!
Never been a fan of that.
My sister showed me that they will expand the Pixar spot (Incredibles coaster please), and the Star Wars land should be coming along with it!!
.....but it'll all be done in 2013.

There can never be to many rodger rabbit props at Hollywood studios if the restaurant does get repurposed I hope the props show up somewhere else in the park.
There was so many things to look at in the seating area. Like The Weasel's Toon Patrol Car, Benny The Cab's Exoskeleton, Props from Horizons, random signs from movies & tv shows from the late 80's & Early 90's. But, My favorite things have to be the Advertisement flyer for Six Flags Magic Mountain for 1988 when The Ninja was new and Had Sylvester Jr on it. Making him the Only Looney Tunes Character to be in a Disney Theme Park..
The Staring Nun in The Plaster Room...
There is also this quote from Walt Disney that is by the Cast Member Area I liked..
I think technically that was the mold used to create the Horizons hovercar. The original is/was on the Backlot Tour at Disney Studios Paris.
