EMERGENCY!!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I think my DVD is screwed up!!!

I need you guys (whoever owns the trilogy on DVD) to do me a favor...

On Disc 1 (the original BTTF)...go to Bonus Material and try to access the Q&A (mine sends me back to the MENU...it won't let me access it...is this a DVD-ROM feature or is my disc screwed up?!?!?!?!)

OK... after you select the Q&A.. go back to the main menu and hit play/start Brian...the q and a plays during the movie I think..

Ok... just double checked... and the Q&A session with the two Bobs plays over the movie.... so select the Q&A session...then you get bounced to the main menu...then hit play :)

Exactly!

I like to refer to it as the "it's in the script - just deal with it!" factor!

Very true cymbaldiva, they call it "Poetic licence". there is a BTTF website were the web host has listed some of the inacuracies in the time line sequencs' and other improbable event occurances as well as taking some liberties with true events in the storyline.

for instance the Frisbie pie plate from part III where marty sees the pie plate at the festival and makes his comment in refrence to his knowledge of the Frisbee in his time. Althou the Frisbee did aquire its name concept from a real pie manufacture called the frisbie pie company which was in existance since 1871, the bakey was located in Connecticut ,it would been highly unlikly that a pie from them would have made it to california in edible condition to be eaten at the festival in 1885

Man, I'm starting to thing you have a smidge too much time on your hands! :D

I know quite well the meaning of poetic license, but that wasn't what I meant..

The it's in the script - just deal with it! factor means just that....enjoy the flick and don't nit-pick it!

Like I've said before...NO MOVIE IS MADE TO CHANGE LIFE OR TO ANSWER THE MEANING OF LIFE...Movies are made for ENTERTAINMENT . If you don't like the film for what it is...then fine...but don't complain about it if you didn't walk away from it expecting it to change your life. Movies...they are made to stimulate the mind, imagination, be visually stimulating, take you to a fantasy world, jerk at your emotions, and ENTERTAIN YOU...NOTHING MORE!

Ok...BTTF...my imagination went crazy afterwards thinking what I would do if I had the DeLorean, the effects were way ahead of their time so it was visually stimulating, BTTF took us all to a fantasy world of the future (let's face it peeps...Jaws 19 will not be out, we will not have flying cars, hoverboards, OR coats that dry themselves in the next 12 years)...and come on...who didn't get tingles the first time Marty's parents kissed at the enchantment under the sea dance and Marty stood up and jammed on the guitar because he had feeling in his hand again???

*steps off of soapbox*

(Sorry...people didn't like the new Star Wars and I have a feeling that people went into the newer movies thinking that they were gonna get the answers in life that they've been looking for)

Kewl... yeah.. i had to turn off and reset my PS2 to get the commentary off...LOL...

I have noticed another glitch... the "animated anidotes" some times dont work all the time...the text only shows up half way and gets cut off... or it will freeze up... anybody else have this problem?

Oh so you're experiencing Deja vu??? Oh sorry...wrong movie. Nope, I've only watched the anecdotes for BTTF 2 though.

Yep...it has been on disc one and two... have not tried them on 3 yet... but I suppose it could just be that the PS2 needs updated DVD drivers... I will try them on my APEX later in the week... there will with no probs on that I bet :)

Ok...I watched the 3 of them again today...and I want to see if you guys can maybe help me answer 2 questions...

1. When the Delorean goes back in time...(first with Einstein)...it comes back completely frozen and steam shoots out of the back of it. WHY...does this only happen ONCE??? (Ok, granted...I'll give it maybe 3 times...(in the first movie) because it may have melted by the time the Peabody's went out to their barn...and then when it returns BACK to 1985 it crashes into the theater...and MAYBE you just couldn't tell because it was so far away...

Now...that leaves us with part 2 and 3...

Mr. Fusion was installed BEFORE they go into the future for the first time in Part 2...so MAYBE the Plutonium caused the freezing reaction.

(But my theory is a stretch...anyone else wanna clear it up for me?)

2. In part 3...Doc Brown builds the time traveling train. I believe they could NOT get the Delorean running because it was out of fuel and then the fuel pump eventually blew out of the car. Ok, first of all...in part 1 the Delorean needed plutonium (to give the car the required 1.21 jigowatts of electricity). In part 2...Mr. Fusion was installed that did away with the need for Plutonium. So...are the Bob's trying to tell us that Doc Brown either did NOT have fuel...BUT...got his hands on Plutonium??? Mr. Fusion couldn't have been installed because he would've needed to go into the future to get it.

OK...I think I seriously need to put my hands up and step away from the BTTF Trilogy...my brain is starting to hurt (but it's so fun)
